It's good that your son enjoy a lot in the school. But I am sure lot many mothers / parnets want their kids to go to the formal school at the age of 4+.
The child should continue in play school till he/she is 4.
U mean to say that when all children finish MBA at age 22 U want delhi kids to complete it at age 24!!(This is the net result)
There is a new name given to nursery these days......they call it pre school since this is a non formal schooling.
formal schooling starts in KG/ Pre Primary which is at age 4+
You know why we are helpless as we do not want to fight... Thanks to Mr Sumit Vohra who speaks so openly about the schools, not following DOE guidelines, otherwise people afraid of mentioning their name to media people. He even dare to speak against Lovely ji. I am really very inspired from him for his fighting sprit against the system and his courage to speak against even the MINISTER and PRINCIPAL of Schools.
Well said Arti Jain. I too liked this quality of Mr.Sumit Vohra.
One compliment for you also Lathaa ji - You provide lot many information to the members of this site and that is also wihtout any benefit. That's really great that you are sparing your time for others for the last 2-3 years..
Nursery admissions: Delhi HC refuses to interfere with age criteria
The Delhi High Court has refused to interfere with the age criteria and admission of toddlers in pre-schools and pre-primary classes.
Stating any disturbance at this stage would be "prejudicial" to the interests of children and parents, the court on Friday gave the go-ahead for the current nursery admission process in the city's private unaided schools.
The court further held that nursery would continue to be treated as the entry point of education and promotion to kindergarten for all such schools which have higher classes was valid.
A bench headed by Acting Chief Justice A K Sikri said there need not be a separate admission process for all schools with higher classes besides nursery. The court added promotion from nursery to KG and so on was an "integral" part of the "developmental continuum" that a child needs at his early age of education.

Good decision! Otherwise, there'd have been another torture next year!
at last.....corrupt system and big shops(schools) win..shame on lovely.
any decision on age limit from high court till yet
I would like to mention one thing over here that the schools are much more smarter than us.. When we said that points for parents qualification is against RTE, they started giving points to alumni which indirectly screening of parents qualifications. When we said that school should not consider the income of parents, they started giving points to SIBLING. Obviously parents sending their first child to a good school can afford the fee for the second child also, means earning well.... When Mr Ashok Aggarwal reduced the management quota of schools and reserved the quota for EWS as 25%, the schools started selling EWS seats and Management Quota seats.. so double benefit to them.... So the schools have solutions for all..... and we have not.....
AT LAST GENERAL CATEGORY WITH NO POINTS FOR ALUMNI AND SIBLING AND TRANSFER OR SINGLE PARENT will not get ADMISSION this year TOO..................
