I suggest you do not wait for NGFS second list as there would be a huge chunk with 50 points just like you and me. explore other options and if we are prepared to shell out money then why waste on NGFS??

who have secured seat in NGFS but have opted for different schools.

Do any of us have any idea about our next steps??? Should we start visiting schools with a bag load full with cash or what??? what about those who dont even have bags, forget bout the cash

applied in 8 schools there is no name in any school, almost all schools are within 5-8 km. What should I do now?

I just want to ask one question to Mr. arvinder singh lovely (who promises that each child will get a nursery seat). will he resign if 100 children are left out? Because my guess is that scores of children will not be getting admisssion in nursery this year.

Why is this point system so tilted towards alumni and sibling? Can't government fix some percentage for these categories too.

Earlier there were points for parent's education, but then some lobby made it a point that government does away with it. So why is government favouring alumni and sibling category?

Me and my husband both teach in reputed colleges in Delhi University, and our first born male child does not have his name figured in even the waiting list of any school..

What should we do now? Start our own school?

Dear Charu, Mr. Lovely is a politician..he'll say that what he meant was that every child will go to school, be it MCD/ Central school or Pvt. school. So, why are you looking at Pvt. schools only, please get your child admitted to MCD school and fulfil his wishes. Also, the same lobby who professed against points for education of parents will never fight against alumni & sibling points because, nowadays, everyone is educated and that's the biggest threat to siblings/ alumni/ EWS category.
