Dear Sakshi/Lathaji/Sumitji

I have blocked seat in Apeejay Sheikh Sarai. I also got a call from Heritage VK to take admission. Wanted to seek your inputs. APJ is far from my house and Heritage is too close. Looking at long term would it be advisable to leave APJ on the basis of distance and convenience?

Thanks Mam for providing admission guidelines for KVs.

So they have fixed the upper age limit as normal age for admission + 2 years. Hope DOE should follow this and fix the upper age limit for nursery admissions.

Eligible Age for Admission in KV

A Child must be 5 years old as on 31^st March in the academic year in which admission is sought for Class I.

CLASS	MINIMUM AGE ON 31^ST MARCH OF THE IN WHICH ADMISSION IS SOUGHT MAXIMUM AGE ON 31st	MAXIMUM AGE ON 31^ST MARCH OF THE YEAR IN WHICH ADMISSION IS SOUGHT
I	5 years	7 years
II	6 years	8 years
III	7 years	9 years
IV	8 years	10 years
V	9 years	11 years
VI	10 years	12 years
VII	11 years	13 years
VIII	12 years	14 years
IX	13 years	15 years
X	14 years	16 years

Note: 1. The above rule is not applicable to existing students of Kendriya Vidyalayas in the country.

2. The maximum age would be further relaxed by two years to handicapped children only by the Principal.

B. There is no age restriction for admission to class XI provided the concerned child is seeking admission in the year of passing the class X examination. Similarly there will be no upper & lower age limit for admission to class XII provided there has been no break in the continuous study of the child after passing class X/XI.

Dear sakshi ... Till now the name of my daughter has not been listed in any of the waiting lists ..do I see any chances of admission this year or should I be thinkink of next year now ...?

Follow the schools you have applied.

Try to get admission done this year itself. Meanwhile get admission in some upcoming new schools in your neighbourhood.

Hi Tanmeet,

There are seats available in Dwarka schools. you can go and check with Indian Heights, Paramount, Presidium, Queens Valley (only Girls) etc... Might you will get any vacant seat.
