Residence Proof

Hi,

Will copy of passport of child and mother be considered as residence proof in schools or as my husband is working in PSU so can we submit any document attested by company showing our residence proof.

Please advice and also alternatives

Yes passport of mother and child should suffice( passport was not accepted in DPS Noida) it is school specific so keep your husbands proof also ready !!

Hi Ety,

I had applied for DPS last year, they were not ready to accept passport as proof. However they were ready to accept land line phone bill, electricity bill etc.

In case of cambridge noida, they accept passport as residence proof.

Mostly school in noida accept land line bills, electricity bills etc.

Thankyou so much Mr. Naveen V, but if can suggest any alternative in that case as we are in UAE these days and will be applying for admission from here with help of local gaurdian and lastly we used reside in Noida only so how should we go for this problem...

Ety ,Yes Naveen is right only Dps NOIDA did not accept paasport. i think you should have one guardian address and need to show transfer documents.

When are we required to submit proof of residence to a school, at the time of filling up form or at the time of taking final admission ?

Jeetendra ,School specific in delhi at the end (final admission) in ncr mixed.

Sakshi, I will be moving into a rented accomodation in Noida this month.So the only residence proof with me will be a rent agreement but I am not sure if this is considered as a "proof" by the schools.

So , it is obvious that i will not be having any proofs as electricity bill (normally on the name of owner of the place), landline connection etc. Can you please suggest how should I go about arranging a valid proof?

@jeetendra, get your rent deed court registered and on basis on rent deed get BSNL PHONE INSTALLED IMMEDIATELY .( This might not be fool proof but will help in many schools ) BSNL ..if you have come on transfer from outstation then it might be very helpful.

These days phone are installed within one day but bill will come after1 month so do asap.
