Feedback on Lotus Valley School.

Hi all! My son hs been offered admission in nursery at lotus valley school. Wud like to have ur feedback on d same! Also, they hv askd to deposit d fee within 2 days. How to go abt it if i wish to wait for d result of some nearby schools? I m quite impressed by d principal of dis school who seems to b approachable n nice! I hope overall it will b a good choice! Your suggestions needed! Thnks!!!

Mr.Vohra always insists to block the first seat. Check out for fee refund policy before submission of admission fee.

My daughter got admission in lotus vally school. I would like to know the fee refund policy of the school?

Hello, my daugther also got the admission. They have given us 2 days times which I think is very short. I had asked for a refund policy as well. We can cancel our registeration two months before the session starts, i.e. by 31st Jan 2013. All the amount except 24000 will be refunded. Which means that we loss 24000 on cancellation of the registeration.

One more thing, we had told them that 2 days is a short notice. They extended it by just 1/2 a day which in opinion is again very short.

hi ashutosh n sonal! As far as my knowledge is concerned, they will only return 23 thousand rs which is caution money. But it seems sonal talked to dem personally n if only 24 thousand rs r at stake , it wud b a gr8 relief! sonal they confirmed admission for my son yesterday (wednesday) so as per d time of 2.5 days given by dem, can i deposit d fee on monday? Hv u guys applied in ny other school as well? Wat r u goin to decide?

Hi Arnika

  I toured the school after our admission got confirmed. The aspect that impressed me apart from the infrastructure is that there are not more than 25/27 students in nursery. There is one teacher and one nanny in the class. I saw the class rooms, actvity areas. I also saw kids in action, doing painting and reciting peoms in front of class and on mike. I was impressed. The teachers were very friendly. Almost each one of them greeted us with a warm smile. They all came across as a very friendly. There was one staff that escorted us through the premises of the school.

The only thing that I think could be improved as a part of interaction is that parents should be given sometime to deposit the fee. We are given only two days to decide and pay the registeration fee. Though we have asked for extention, but we were given only 1/2 a day more.

My choice, right from the begining was either Amity or LVS or DPS. Now, after hearing Drug cases in DPS, we have decided against applying in that school. I will be waiting for Amity results. But my personal preference is LVS simply due to student, teacher ratio and the king of infrastructure being provided. And the Education. I have heard that till class I, its Montessori style of teaching and from Class II onwards, its EduComp.

I am planning to apply for DPS and Suncity. My first choice is suncity.

I would go for LVIS if not get admission in suncity or DPS.

Hi Sonal! Thanks 4 replying! I agree with ur views regarding LVS. I hope dis school will hv d potential of providinga good blend of academics n extra curricular activities! Hv u deposited d fee thr? Amity wil take time to declare d result. In dat case will u let dis offer go? I m pretty convinced wid LVIS but d only hitch is d distance frm my home which is abt 13 kms! Donno whether it wud b right to send d child so far! Still in a fix!!!

Hi Ashutosh! I guess securing admission in Sun City wudnt b a challenge but ya for DPS u cant b sure! By the way do u hv ny specific reason for putting LVS last in ur preference? Wud like to b updated abt tht! I too visited suncity n found it nice! For me it hs n edge in terms of location which is very prime! No idea abt d academics n xtra curr thr!

Suncity is a well established school. It has good balance btw academics and extracurricular activities.  DPS also has good feedback from academics prospective.

For me academics are very important criteria for school selection because I believe providing good academic education is more difficult than creating good infrastructure.
