Sakhsi/ All other parents,

I need suggestion. Currently we are residing in Indirapuram. After 2 yrs, we'll b shifting to our flat in Noida. We'r in a delemma as to where should we get our daughter admitted? Noida or Ghaziabad? Kindly suggest.

If possible noida

1 You have more and sought after schools in noida

2 getting admission in first grade is not easy

Vandana ji,

It depends on which area in Noida you are about to get settled in future.

School buses of Lotus Valley, Mayuoor School, APJ, DPS Noida, Amity Noida, Kothari International are very much going to Indirapuram area.

Schools like Father Agnel, Somerville, Indus Valley are very close to Indirapuram.

So for these schools distance will not matter.

Only in case you are going to be settled in Expressway area or Noida Extension in future then you may reconsider your decision there if you wish so.

Mr. Bij,

Is it possible that we enroll our child in nursery in some Indirapuram school and after 2 yrs when we shift to Noida, we enroll her their in some other school? How arduous is it to change school in higher classes?

Hi Vandana ji,

Many Noida schools take applications against vacant seats for classes prep to 9th stds. But the competetion is very tough as applications are in very large numbers against the few vacancies. It is purely your personal choice to finalise the course of actions at this time and in future looking at various opportunities and being prepared for them accordingly.

Shweta ji,

I have know  some parents of Kothari and they are not happy.

You should go for Sapphire International and don't fall in trap of GIIS with their fake claims.

DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, NOIDA

NURSERY ADMISSION         SESSION 2013 - 14

ADMISSION
            The school's academic session commences in  April every year.             The procedure for admission in various classes is given below.

Class Nursery
            Application forms open in the month of September every year for the upcoming  session.   Age  criteria: The child should  not be less than three and more than four years at the time of registration application  notice is brought out in leading local and national newspapers of NCR and also  posted on the school website. Applications are received from the parents through  ONLINE submission process.             Only the shortlisted candidates along with  their parents are called for Registration and Interaction. The prospectus is  given along with the Registration form. The registration fee is non-refundable.

Class Prep - IX
            Applications  for admission are invited ONLINE from January onwards for the upcoming session.  Only the shortlisted candidates  are called for Registration and subsequently entrance test which is held around  March end. Based on the test results, the  interaction and the number of vacancies in each class, parents are notified.  Once the admission is confirmed, school fees & documents required are to be  submitted.

10% seats are reserved for admission to  various classes for the children of residents of Noida / of the villages lying  within the limits of the New Okhla Industrial Development Area / of  Entrepreneurs carrying on industrial activity within NOIDA.

Age criteria is children born between Oct 2008 and Sept 2009.
