Hello Bij ji,
I am staying in crossing republic ghaziabad and finding very few schools nearby. Is the schools like Amity Vashundhara, Father Agnel Noida will take the child? Do they have transport facility till Crossing republic. Can you please suggest as which all schools we should go for? Thanks!

pls go through this note i got from a blog of crossing republic residents on net:
"Many schools have started their bus services in crossings republik.
Some of the school buses coming are :Indus Valley Public School-Sector 62 Noida
Presidium-Indirapuram
Gurukul-NH 24 Ghaziabad
Sapphire International School-Sector 71 Noida
JKG School, Indirapuram and Vijay Nagar
Silverline Public School, Ghaziabad
Ryan International School - NH 24 Ghaziabad, etc...."

As i can recollect it should be easier for you to get admission in any of these above mentioned school..pls check for them by visiting these schools personally or their websites.
You can also apply for some relatively established schools like DPS Indirapuram(from 2nd week of Sept), Father Agnel Sec-62 Noida (from 7 to 9 sept), St. Thomas Indirapuram....but i have no clue about their buses plying in that area.
If your kid has already been selected to Amity Vasundhara sec6/sec1..then you can try for a private cab as i think their buses do not ply to your area..

first thanks for taking this discussion on as it is very inspiring to talk to experts on our beloved's future
i wish to give my child an overall development where he grows up to choose his interests wisely. i have got through dps xpressway and am waitin for results in dps noida. though dps has unparallel academic record, i wish to know about its achievements or involvement in the field of performing arts like theatre, music, dance, sports etc. please comment?
also, prioritize the two for selection in terms of future of my beloved?

Mansi ji, your choice is between two DPS schools only. DPS Noida is one of the best managed DPS Society schools of Delhi NCR whereas the new DPS expressway is under the Aegis of DPS society (i.e. a franchisee one).
DPS expressway will take some time to evolve itself but is a good option for expressway people. Nothing more can be told about this school at this time.
DPS Noida is one of the oldest established private schools of Noida and has a rich heritage of alumni and achievements in various fields related to the education. The good part is that the school has kept its traditional image intact alongwith evolving consistently with the need of the modern times. So we can say a balanced approach is followed here. As you have rightly told Academics is very well covered with the proven DPS education pedagogy. On the other hand Extracurricular, sports & fine arts are also given ample focus here. School has good sports infrastructure with a very well maintained football cum athletics field, basketball court, swimming pool, skating court, horse riding facility, indoor sports etc. Intra-class & inter-class cultural functions are held usually and students are encouraged to participate. Hostel facility is also available from class 6th onwards. Separate Libraries with various kinds of books are there for pre primary, primary, middle & senior classes. Music, Dance, debating, general knowledge club, public speaking and other activities are given to students from class 1 onwards as an option to choose from. DPSN actively encourages students to take part in Olympiads like NCO, UCO, NSO, IMO etc.
I think it is a good overall package that DPSN provides to its students. (you visit the campus and you will like the environment).
((p.s. as you know the best sports facility in any school of Delhi &NCR is at Modern School Barakhamba..so as an example of the illustrious alumni in sports field Unmukt Chand, the captain of Indian under 19 cricket team did his schooling at DPS Noida & Modern School, Barakhamba road by getting good impetus on his cricketing skills. @Ritu ji, Amity Noida is a preferred choice of Noida parents due to its consistent academic record, innovative teaching methods and good cocurricular activities. But basic emphasis of the Amity is on academic excellence.
Millenium School Noida is supported by Educomp Solutions and utilises the smart board and innovative audio-video teaching methods extensively, has good teacher:students ratio, ample sports facilities, ac classroom, ac school buses, optional snacks&lunch facility upto primary classes--so is a good option for all round development of the kid not focussing specifically on academic front only.
Pls decide on basis of what type of enviornment you want to opt for your kid in the school and his/her interests.
