And how about DAV Gurgaon? It also features at no.2 in HT survey. So better than DPS 45?

Got thru amiown nursery but confused , my kid is currently going in shriram global early years which is coming up with a big school next year . I think it will be one of the good schools in near future .pls suggest what should I do.

I think u r right Shriram global is going to be good in near future... I will recommend continue with it unless there are some challenges.. like distance from home etc...
Can u pls provide me the following info:
Where is Shriram global's nursery and KG school is (is it near galleria)?
Where is their big school coming up (i guess which will have classes 1st onwards)?

Gaurav , Its near galleria only and big school is coming up in sector 64 . As of now distance is not a problem and by the time kid is in first we are flexible in shifting to that area else there is no challenge .

Admission Process
Admission process at DPS Greater Faridabad is trouble-free and transparent.
Registration is the first step for taking admission in DPS Greater Faridabad.
Application forms are to be filled in and submitted to the Administrative Office within 2 working days from issue of the form.
Admission to Nursery & preparatory will be through observation or face to face interview. Parents must be present during the face to face interview. Date & Timings for interview/interaction with the student will be informed at the time of submission of registration form.
- Children who complete three years by 31st March 2013 only are eligible for registration for the academic session 2013-2014.
- You can apply online through the website.
- Before filling the form, please refer to the detailed instructions carefully:
- Fill the form on the website.
- Take a print out of the filled form.
- Attach attested photocopies of documents
- The completed form with documents should be enclosed in an envelope of size 30 X 24 cms.
- Please keep a copy / printout of the filled form for your record.
Important: You are advised to fill in only one online form. Duplicate forms will be rejected.
At the time of registration, the following documents are to be submitted to the Administrative Office:
- Duly filled and signed Registration Forms
- 2 passport size colour photographs of the child
- Proof of Date of Birth (Issued by Municipal Corporation or any authorized competent authority)
LIST OF ‘ATTESTED’ DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED WITH COPY OF FORM
The attestation should be done by a gazetted Grade-I Officer.
Final admission is subject to verification of the following documents (in original):
- i. Birth certificate from the registrar of birth or equivalent authority in original (First copy / ink copy). Name of the child must be endorsed in the Birth Certificate duly countersigned by Registrar of Birth.
- ii. Proof of residential address (Passport/Registered Lease Deed/Paid Electricity Bill/ Paid MTNL Telephone Bill/ Electoral Card). In case of rental accommodation, an affidavit on stamp paper should be submitted along with driving license). School reserves the rights to verify the residential address through home visits.
- iii. Transfer Case: Transfer certificate from employer stating date of transfer.
Parents of shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of original documents as per schedule.
No undertaking regarding the documents mentioned above will be accepted at the time of verification.
Note: INCOMPLETE REGISTRATION FORMS WILL BE REJECTED.

The final decision of admitting a student solely rests with the school management and no claims will be entertained in this regard. Further influencing any D.P.S. staff or Management directly or indirectly can lead to strict penal action and complete rejection immediately by the school authority.

this is a big news. i did not know that DPS is upcoming in sec 81. i visited TSRM school and Aravali school and MDPS but i have not even seen the DPS building?
Can someone tell me where exactly it is.Should be somewhere near Aravali international? is it already started or 2013-14 will be the first batch?
The site does not have much info.Plz let me know all the info about this DPS

What is the admission criterion of Shriram global? and how is it different from TSRS school ?

Both schools are different as belong to same family but different management (TSRS is old and established)

Thanks. One more question related to TSRS. They have points sytem but they also say if applications more than seats. they will draw lots. So I am not clear .

No I was not called for interaction and I found out from school that my son is not in present short list.
