1. How can I register On-line for Nursery class-General Category?

Please log on to

http://www.stthomasdwarka.com (Preferable browser – IE 8 /Mozilla Firefox). Forms for General Category will be available & accepted only through On-line.

The forms will be available online from 01^{st of January to 15th January 2013.}

Fill all the details in the On-line Admission form correctly.

The form will be accepted only when the online payment of Rs. 25/- (including taxes) is done before submitting the form.

2. How I have to apply, if I belong to EWS Category?

Manual Registration

Form can be collected and submitted along with required documents at the school gate on all working days (Monday to Friday) between 09:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The forms will be available from 01st of January to 15th January 2013.

The form can also be downloaded from the website of DoE, Delhi (

^{http://www.edudel.nic.in}⁾

On-line registration form is not applicable for the EWS.

3. Can I register On-line admission form more than once?

You can apply the On-line registration form only once for each applicant.

Any fabricated/ faulty information in the admission form will be rejected & admission stands cancelled for that applicant

4. How can I get the acknowledgement/confirmation after submitting the online registration form?

Once submitting/uploading the registration form successfully, you will receive an auto-generated Acknowledgement Receipt with a reference number for further correspondence. The Acknowledgement Receipt will also generate USER ID and a PASSWORD. Please make sure Pop-up blocker is Turn Off, to get the acknowledgement receipt.

The auto-generated USER ID & PASSWORD should be preserved by the parent to check the online admission status of the applicant.

Take a print out of the Form and Acknowledgement Receipt. You would require quoting the reference number for all correspondence with the school.

5. What is the mode of payment for the On-line registration form?

The online payment of Rs. 25 towards on-line registration form shall be done through Net Banking /Credit card inclusive of taxes.

Children belonging to economical weaker section as per RTE Act 2009 are exempted from registration fees.

5. What is the mode of payment for the fees after securing admission in Nursery class?

Fee is to be paid by DD ONLY (For 01st Quarter).

DD should be drawn in favor of "ST. THOMAS SCHOOL", payable at New Delhi.

Please write the name of the child, father name & mobile no. at the backside of the DD.

Payment of fees by any other mode is not acceptable.

6. Is on-line registration fee refundable?

On-line registration fees are non refundable and non-transferable.

7. What will be the process of submitting the Documents & DD (for securing admission)?

Documents and DD related to securing final admission will be accepted at the Administration department in the school between 08.30 Hrs and 14.00 Hrs (Lunch break 13.00 Hrs. to 13:15 Hrs.) on a prescribed date, which will be announced in the school website. For verification, all the attested photocopies of the documents must be in A4 size (Portrait) format. Sequence of documents should be as per the information provided in the registration form.

8. When will be the last date for Registration?

Last date for submitting On-line Registration Form (For General Category) is 15.01.2013 till 24:00 hrs only.

Last date for submitting Off

-line Registration Form (For EWS category) is 15.01.2013 till 12:00 noon only.

9. Which documents need to be submitted along with the registration form (for General Category only)?

For proof of residence, any one of the following documents is required:

Attested photocopy of Proof of Residence (MTNL bill / Passport / Driving License / Voter I card / Electricity – Water Bill/Rent Agreement/ Unique Identity card of the mother/father issued by the Government of India).Please submit the latest copy of the bill.

To verify Date of Birth of child :

Attested photocopy of the birth certificate of the child issued by Municipal Corporation or equivalent authority.

For First Born child/ Twin Child :

Affidavit by the parents confirming that the child is their first born child

or twin child duly attested by Notary Public

If Central Govt. /State Govt. /Public Sector Employee, please bring the I-Card & the photocopy of the same.

In case of Inter-state Transfer/Overseas transfer :

Attested photocopy of the Transfer Order from the company. The transfer order should not be less than one year old.

In case of sibling :

Please bring the Photo copy of latest Report card/ID card/latest Fee bill (any one).

In case of Christian:

Attested photocopy of Baptism Certificate & Latest Letter from Presbyter In-charge.

Four (4)

Passport size photograph each of father, mother & child.

10. Which documents need to be submitted along with the registration form (for EWS Category only)?

For proof of residence, Parent’s Residential Address (Any One):

Ration Card (Pink colour) issued in the name of the parents (Mother/Father) having name of the child.　

Domicile certificate of child or of his/her parents (residing in Delhi for last 5 years)

Voter I-Card of any of the parents.　

Latest Electricity bill/MTNL telephone bill/Water bill.　

Unique Identity card of the mother/father issued by the Government of India.

Passport in the name of any of the parents or child.

To verify Date of Birth of child:

Birth certificate under the Births, Deaths and Marriages Certification Act, 1986.

Hospital/Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife (ANM) register record.

Anganwadi Record.

Declaration of the age of the child by the parent guardian.

Proof of Income:

Annual Income certificate of the parent issued by the SDM of the area OR by the Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar with a date of issue not earlier than March 2013.

BPL Ration card (Yellow color).　

AAY Ration card (Pink Color)

Disadvantaged Certification:

A certificate issued by a Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar or any other Competent Authority.

Caste Certificate issued by DC Office.

A certificate issued in accordance with instruction issued by the Department of Woman and Child Development, GNCT of Delhi, vide order dated 11.12.12 in case of Orphan Child.

11. What is the eligible age criterion for admission in class nursery?

A child should be 3.0 plus years and not more than 4.0 years old as on 31st March 2013.

12. Should copy of the Registration Form be kept with parents?

Yes, please retain a printout of the Registration Form, Acknowledgement slip for future reference.
