Name on Birth Certificate

What are my options if my child's name is not there on the birth certificate? Do school accepts affidavits?

Tarun , all schools dont ask but affidavit wont work. u need to get it done from mcd office.or try with SDM affidavit ,it might work.

Hello, Does Passport of child work in case name is not there on birth certificate ?

I also want to know about this. i have passport of my child but different name is mentioned in the birth certificate.

The name in the birth certificate will be valid one and use that name. Later on you can do correction with MCD.
