Hi Friends

I have a question here - What about those parents who are not literate enough, but still they have to face these questions. They also wish their child should be blessed with a better life and best future. Suppose they won't be able to answer these questions, then what !! Do they get admission in the schools they are dreaming about? what about their dreams and their wards' future. I really want to know your opinions, your point of view.

All your responses would be highly appreciated.

Sushmeen
Dear Sushmeen
Some schools like DPS don't even see your face ,just see your documents after posting the list on net and school like amity grill you in written and verbal !

so you cannot help it !!

I am getting lot of mails where Mr Sanjay Kaul,Ritu singh,Bosuji ,SriHarsha Rahul Gulati,Deepak gupta and other firing girls have gone who gave beutiful blows to school questions in first boxing round;)
I did Reply to that Funny First question (Did i run away from home to get married) but somehow that thread got burried :-)

Shall try to answer few today.
3) What is your philosophy of education?
Education is not a privilege but it rather is every child’s birthright. Personally I support children getting school education and I try my best to facilitate it in whatever possible way I can.
10) What according to you contributes most for a happy family?

The few things like trust, putting others first and yourself last, having a relaxed sprit, being considerate, thoughtful and a lot of laughter makes a happy family.

I believe trust grows a lot of love and respect. Investing time in family helps considerably. Helping elders with their daily chores, kids with their homework and your spouse with preparing a dinner (or something else) goes a long way in increasing the happiness quotient.

Irrespective of weather you are elder or younger at home, make sure you are thoughtful and considerate before you act or speak. Constant nagging and criticism is a sure shot disaster.

All yogis have said that laughter is the best medicine. Pone has to look at the funnier things in life and laugh along. Laugh along with children when they do funny things. Share jokes and anecdotes with elders and make them laugh.
What would you do if your child cries during the first few days of going to
school?
I think mostly children cry in the first few days of going to school, a child gradually adjusts and starts liking it after sometime. Maybe before he has started going to school, we can just take him for a walk in the morning where mostly kids are going to school in their beautiful uniforms either waiting for their school buses or are walking on the road and let them exchange a simple 'Hi'. Genrally kids like rides in car, buses etc(have'nt we loved it in childhood!!) so we can charm them about the fun in school, new friends, books, bag and take them to market to shop for his own small stuff like pencil, eraser etc.. I am sure they will love it ...!!
It is about making everything exciting and interesting for the kid(tone, pitch, expressions, enlarged eyes, making funny faces...everything counts-trust me it works), thats why it is said, u live your childhood again with the child.
Are the cartoon channels beneficial or harmful according to you?
-> Anything done in limit is not harmful. Parents supervision is must. I think fixing a time table where your child is allowed to watch Cartoon channels for 1 hour a day can never be harmful.
Yes, ensure that you are aware of what your child in watching and what is the kind of language being used and content of the show. There are some of the cartoon programmes which are very informative and good.(Dora,Diego, Mickey mouse)
Studies or Extra Curricular activities - What is more important?
-> Answer is Studies and Extra Curricular activities. Both are equally important.
we all have heard" All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, All play and no work makes Jack a mere toy."
So, perfect blend of both is very important for holistic development of child.
Dear Sanjay and Ritu ,It is Because of parents like you other parents could get admissions ..i don't
think ..i can describe my feelings in a better way or words !!!!
