Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2026-27

Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools

Hi,

My kid was born outside Delhi. Most of the schools mention that they need the birth certificate by MCD. Will I face any problem in my kid's admission in Delhi schools if I submit the birth certificate created by the local governing authorities ? Or I need to get some equivalent certificate from MCD?

Please help!! Thanks in advance.

Birth Certificate can be issued only once and you can ask for more copies or make your name entered. Hope you may have made BC in outside Delhi in Gram or Tehsil level. That is the only valid Birth Certificate and you can bravely move about with it. So nothing to fear that you have to make in MCD office.

Thanks Lathaa, that's relief.
I was so bothered about it.
