So many.... A child starts going to playschool at the age of about 2.5 years, This is the time when a child enjoys most with toys, colours and rides , new objects tc...he is curious to know about everything, very inquisitive, so it the best time to make him learn with fun. Also it is preparing the child to stay away from his family for sometime and socialise with others. I have seen children who didnt speak before going to playschool at all, but started speaking complete sentences after going there. It is because at home they are in their comfrt zone and dont want to take pain, they think mother/father wll understand their sign/code language, so they dont take efforts of speaking but outside their comfort zone they realise that no one will understand so they start speaking up and picking up things faster.

Have you used any websites for kids for online interactive learning?
There are lots of educative resources on the net...the best being cbeebies...its very informative and an excellent way of e-learning.

what precautions do you need to take against Swine Flu?
i think one should give homeopathic precautionary medicines to children. also give children lots of fruits and vitamin C to build thier immuntiy.

Does one have to submit a medical certificate of the child in schools at the time of admission? Is child's vaccination chart asked by the school authorities?
I guess all parents should have a ready reckoner handy with them about their child's immunisation chart as some schools also require it at the time of admission. infact get a medical certificate rweady with the Doctor's sign and seal.

How is it different when the child is at home and once he child starts going to school?
For three years, we pamper our kids and take good care of them day in and day out- their sleep, food patterns, outdoor& indoor activities are all set in to a routine and we all along with the child also get accustomed to it. it is a change for the child but there is always a dignified way to let the child comfortably adapt to this drastic change. the child should be first put in to a playschool at 2.5 yrs and then to the mainstream school at 3 yrs so that he gets used to 3 hours of activity...in mainstream schools, they need to go for 4-5 hours but i guess all kids are smart and get accustomed to it, infact they start enjoying school...
thanx a lot ritu ...ur answers are of gr8 help...
