I called up AMITY school to check status regarding VC of documents today morning after seeing this conversation. But they confimred me that they are calling those parents only whos are having disputes in their documents. There is no draw of Lots and they will put on their LIST of selected candidates on 15th FEB only.

If any one has any further information. Please share the same.

Our documents have been verified long back and i re-confirmed with this lady who called and it is she who said that, "Yes, your child has been shortlisted, please come and submit the fees by 1st feb." Since their list is out on 15th only i wanted to be sure if in case there is any mistake but she reinstated and also mentioned that they are admitting some students even before the actual list is out. This sounds very strange??

I was there and here is my take -
1. Heritage allowed entry at ten and the gates were open for an hour. It was crowded but what place in India doesn't get that way when there are 500 odd people and one gate. True, they could have managed better, but out was nothing one couldn't manage.
2. The steps being referred to in the photograph are in fact part of a mini amphitheatre. It was adequate, to say the least.
3. The draw started at 11 and was over around 11.45. It was adequately managed and transparent.
4. I understand the argument about not needing parents or representatives for the draw.

My submission is that one should look at the whole package before being selectively critical about one put two points that bother us. Many parents walked out saying that though they haven't got lucky in the draw, they are at least not feeling cheated.

As we have seen all the schools putting chits in DELHI /NCR even if parent is absent .

how many points did u child scored?? i had scored 45 points n didnt get any call for verification. i m confused..
also on sunday i went to that school n gurad told me that verification process is being done only for those whoo hve some mistakes/errors in the form or whose doc r not complete..
i dont understand..what process this school is followin??

@Asad what about the nuclear families who kept waiting for one hour  and had to leave for AMITY / other schools for document verification( As some schools insisted for both parents to be present on specified time )

Only those are complaining not all.

BUT IRRESPECTIVE OF THEIR PRESENCE THE SLIPS FOR DRAW OF LOTS HAS TO BE PUT FOR ALL SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES.

No one deleted any comment , and YOU SHOULD KNOW THE RULES OF DOE THAT ALL THE PARENTS SLIPS HAVE TO PUT IRRESPECTIVE OF THEIR PRESENCE .

WE HAVE MAX COMPLAINTS AS YOU HAVE RIGHT TO PUT YOUR VIEW ,ALL OTHERS ALSO HAVE THE  RIGHT.

@Asad Just check aditi comment is 4 post above your last post 31 min back IN THIS THREAD ONLY . i feel you have soft corner for the school thats why you are saving the school and putting false allegation.PERIOD i m closing the thread i have more imp things and have to ans other parents Than answering fake id's from schools
