IF TAGORE EOK IS GIVING IN WRITING ON FEE RECEIPT THAT IT WILL FOLLOW DOE FEE REFUND POLICY AND IF ANY PARENT CAN GIVES ANY PROOF , IT WOULD BE HELPFUL FOR REST OF PARENTS.( AS ALL IN CASH , NO PROOF THAT THEY WILL FOLLOW DOE GUIDELINES).

Rukmini Devi Bal Vatika, Pitampura is asking for 90,000 out of which 40,000 is cheque and 50,000 cash for direct transfer to Rukmini Devi Public School.
Maxfort, Rohini demands 78,000 approx with a quarter fee. They demanded first come first serve basis. On Refund Policy, they told they will be deducting almost 46k( 40k Institutional charges) which is not as per DOE.
I hope this helps. Even schools like Kids Way, GD Goenka are demanding too high..........
I would please request the moderaters to hide my name... Will give you more inputs as and when required. THanks for helping parents in such a selfless manner.
Sure Isha
May I please request DOE to submit to the High Court on how exactly do they want to implement the Right to Education through nursery admissions in private unaided schools. The court suggests that schools should not have the choice to select students and such a choice is discriminatory and against the Right to Education, however what is also being suggested is to take away the choice from the parents. This is principally and legaly confusing as education is not free nor provided by the state through these schools. Each school is providing education as a product where the school environment, ethos and infrastructure is different and it is all differently priced. How can then parents or for that matter children be allotted to schools by way of draws, where they end up in a school they do not want to go and may not even be able to afford. Clearly if the parents are paying a price for education of their ward they have the right to choose the right product. Similarly the neighborhood case also falls flat, as to allow parents a chance at schools with fees which fits their budget, the neighborhood circle would have to be really wide, may be 10-20km, and so children can end up in any school at any distance.
My submission is that right to education can only be implemented nation wide in an environment where government provides equal and similar education at the same price at walkable distance from every household. Hope all involved take due consideration of implementation of any directive/order before it is forced down peoples throats.
@Sandeep Gandhi, Can you copy and paste in the dialogue box of video below the video because Mr Vohra would be sending the link to DOE Director ( you can do it without disclosing your name also)
Mr Vohra, I have always appreciated your initiative in keeping parents informed about the goings-on in the nursery admission process, but this time I beg to differ.
From all my experience with Tagore Intl School, I have never found them to be unfair where finances are concerned. I know for a fact that parents have been refunded the nursery admission fee in the past. Also this school is known for its transparency in the entire process...how come you don't mention that anywhere? And thirdly, it is the only school with such low admission fees....approx.12000 against the 40000-90000 that other schools are asking for. AND they give the parents a receipt for the WHOLE amount!
Priya, i agree but pls see this NO REFUND ALL CASH .IS IT FAIR ?

Sakshi, this clause was there in earlier years too and yet they have refunded fees. I feel it is important to understand the ethos and mission of a school. TIS believes that every child deserves to study in a good school and they respect the decision of the parents to choose the school they want for their child. As for the CASH aspect, it could be because parents put on hold the cheques they have given, till all schools have put out their lists. I personally feel that a school deserves atleast this much that they have a fair idea about all those who are seriously wanting their kids to study in that school. Also the parents ARE getting a receipt for the whole amount so isn't that proof enough?
To endorse Isha Khanna -
Rukhmani Devi, Pitampura - 40,000 as cheque and 50,000 as cash (non-refundable and without receipt).
GD Goenka, Sector - 9, Rohini - 58,500 as cash (non-refundable, without receipt). Further their list is not even out yet, it will come on 11 feb. Before only in the name of document verification, they are asking for donation.
Pl. remove my name.
