SRL DAV Dayanand Vihar has done the same thing. Befor High Court stay on admissions we have received email and a phone call to attend the draw, which was not happened. Now the first list has been out and I didn't found my kid's name in the list which falls under the same point criterea. Don't know how they have finalised the list.
Do we have any law or regulations for such schools?

my daughter has 55 points.. and draw of lots is predecided...pls tell wat we can do...in my opinion...draw should be in presence of parents.

The same holds true for Modern VV, SB DAV VV, Gyan Bharti Saket, Sanskriti Chanakya puri. Did any of the mentioned school called shortlisted candidates parents for a draw?????? These schools are clearly flouting DOE norms.

see, not just Laxman. there is a long list of those who conducted draw without intimating parents!
Modern VV is not even following the 100 point system... their all points together is 90!

but suresh for laxman we have documentary evidence but DOE won't go on hearsay. we need either parents complaining on DOE website with complaint no or any documentary evidence.

EVEN ME TOO WITH OTHER PARENTS. MY DAUGHTER ALSO SCORED 55 POINTS IN LAXMAN BUT WE R NOT INFORMED THAT 55 SCORED CHILDREN ARE COMING IN DRAW LOT. MEANS JUST THEY DID ACCORDING TO THEIR OWN WISH AS WE R NOBODY IT IS INJUSTIFIED AND REDICULOUS. AT LEAST I DIDNOT EXPECT THI TYPE OF OUTCOME FROM LAXMAN TYPE RENOWNED SCHOOL. THEN AT TIME I THINK THE SCHOOLS R TAKING ADVANTAGES OF PARENTS DUE TO THESE HC VERDICT TO BE COME

I M PUTTING UP NEB SARAI, I VE 5 TO 6 SIX SCHOOLS WITHIN 5 K.M REDIUS. STILL MY DAUGHTER DIDNOT GET ANYWHERE JUST BCOZ SHE IS MY ONLY CHILD. EVEN IN AMRITA VIDYALAYAM SHE SCORED 40 POINTS BT WHN WE WENT THER THEY TOLD THOSE WHO SCORED 40 THEY HAD HAD A DRAW LOT. BT WE WERE NT INFORMED, SO MANY OTHER PARENTS ALSO COMPLAINING THE SAME THAT HW COULD THEY DO WITHOUT INFORMING ...... BT THEY DID AS THEY KNOW THE PARENTS R HELPLESS. " IS DESH KA KUCHH NEHI HO SAKTA".

We were called by Ryan International School for verification of documents on Friday. And on reaching there, we were shocked to see how shamelessly the seats are being sold. We were told very clearly that if we pay 60K in cash right away our child's name will appear in the first list that will be posted at 4PM. When we asked the person asking for the money what was the criteria that was being used, he had no clear answer. As we didn't pay, our child's name was not in the list. And, in the evening we met a few parents who scored in sibling criteria and they told us that even they paid 55k to get their name in the list. I don't see how point system has regularized admissions. It has only given the parents tough time of running around to fill admission forms, wait for lists, get stressed and finally pay for the seat. If we have to buy the seat in the end then why do all the drama of buying forms, getting proofs attested and then verifying them. Let's just do an open house on the seats and close the same.
