Age Criterion in Gurgaon Schools for Nursery Admissions
Hi,
My daughter is October 2010 born and as per age criterion of most of the schools in Gurgaon, she will not be eligible for Admisison to Nursery in 2014-15 session. I am very keen to start her nursery in 2014-15 session as I do not see any benefit in waiting for a year and I have heard that few schools do have flexible age criteria. Would request the moderator/members to share the Age criterion of schools in Gurgaon specially the ones mentioned here. The excel sheet available doesnt have full information. Some of the schools which are in my mind are:
1. Shivnadar
2. Kunskapsskolan
3. Shikshantar
4. Ridge Valley
5. Gurgaon Valley
6. Suncity
7. Lotus Valley
8. Banyan Tree World School
9. Heritage
10. Shri Ram
Also, if there are any other school anyone knows apart from these which have flexible age criteria, then please let me know.

Please Join Gurgaon Group (All details you will find )Only Lotus Valley and Shiv Nadar gave relaxation of 3 months to some parents last year.

Sakshi, Thanks for the reply. I think I am already on the Gurgaon group and the excel sheet link sent by you is already with me but as you will notice, this doesnt have full information about the schools I am looking for. I have visited each of their website and found that Ridge Valley, Suncity World School, Lotus valley, Heritage and Banyan Tree take kids at 3+ in nursery. I wanted to find out about other schools also.

Nidhi,I don't think your info is right as few school listed above did not take at 3 yrs on 31 Mar. Did you confirm 3yrs on 31 Mar or 30sep .I would like you to wait and watch till July as we saw in previous years some schools were flexible in age but disclosed at the time of forms only.
Yes Shriram Gurgaon takes 3yrs 6 months on 31 Mar 2014 (See the Contradiction Delhi Shriram Takes 3 yrs plus on 31 Mar )

Sakshi, I have actually picked up the info from the school's website. I am talking about 3yrs on Mar 31, 2014. In my case my daughter is 10th Oct born and she is just 10 days younger in meeting the age criterion for all the schools (which is 3 yrs by Sep 30th 2013). In general, since you have been in this industry for long, what is your suggestion for putting her in nursery at the age of 3 yrs 5 months 20 days.

Yes you must go ahead its perfect age but just confirm with Schools on phone( websites might not be updated ) for correct info.

Dear Sakshi and nidhi.... my son is 10 dec 2010 born .... I m keen on sending him for the 2014-2015 session .... Will that be possible ????

Hi Ayushi, My daughter is 10 Oct 2010 born and I am also keen on sending her for 2014-15 session. Lets do the research and decide which schools take nursery admission at 3+. Btw, Sakshi, when do the forms start coming out?
