Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2024-25

Admission Dates | Admission Criteria | Compare schools | Fee Details

Hi,

My child is  4th December 2010 born...in which class he should take the admission in coming session 2014-2015.

I am trying to admit him in nursery class but most of the schools takes 3+ child.

I would like to know what is good for my child, to wait for another 1 year or to make him admission in nursery.

Thanks

You should not waste one year, Can try in Amity,Shalom,Banyan Tree,Ridge Valley,Gurgaon Valley. They all take 3yrs on 31 mar 2014. Lotus valley and Shivnadar,Kuns might relax age as few of them take 3 years 3 months ( school specific and flexibility also on case to case in previous years)

My Daughter is March, 2011 born and she will complete 3 years in 2014. I am also confused if I should go for theses schools with nursery admissions or wait for one more year and apply in other schools.

I feel you should try and if you get in desired school, you should not wait for a year.

Hi Sakshi.

My daughter is 18th Oct 2010 born and as suggested by you I visited Lotus valley last Saturday but as per them the Pricipal shall take the decision on age relaxation at the time of face to facediscussion only.Prior to that they are not willing to give any committment/confirmation.

@himanshu,Yes i think its demand vs supply but you stand a good chance as only 18 days short and when they have not started admissions, they cannot commit.

Same here Himanshu, even I talked to Lotus Valley and they said they cant commite anything as of now. Their admission process will start in September. My daughter is only 10 days short :)
@Nidhi.Since we are on the same boat thus do let me know that which all options are you trying to zero down for your daughter other than LVIS ?

I am looking at Heritage and G D Goenka Public School. Both have CBSE.in all probabilities it will be GDGPS as their age criteria for nur is 3+ as on march 31.

Sure Himanshu, I have on my list - Shivnadar (confirmed that they will relax age criteria for few days), Kunskappskolan, Banyan tree, ridge valley, gurgaon valley and Suncity (though may not relax age criteria)

Hi Nidhi and Himanshu, My son is Nov 2010 born so come under the same category your kids are. Please let me know as well incase you come across some information. I have heard good feedback about Shalom Hills as well.

Just curious to know, I dont see people considering DPS and DAV, is there any particular reason?

@Nidhi.What is the feed back of the Ridge Valley and Gurgaon Valley schools as both of them are pretty new.
Nupur, I think there is one DPS branch which is very good (Sakshi, please let us know which one is that) and I am sure about the age criteria. About DAV, i have heard very good reviews but its in Sector 14 I guess which is very far from the place I stay.
