i am agree with all .point system specially alumni or sibling are very eradicated i f we dont have sibling or alumni my child will not get any admission why children will suffer because of these point system. unka ka dosh hai we have to raise the hand against all these systems

I also Agree with the below parents grudges with the point System , and my child will also one of them to suffer . With the present point system I think my child will not be able to secure admission in any of the School .
Despite the DOE schedule dates , school are still following a Short perion dates of 7-10 days only creating panic among the parents .

Why schools have descretionary power in point system. As most of the schools giving 20-30 points to Sibling or alumni. They give 5-10 points ot first child. Why such a variation. It should be similar so that u have the option to choose. For admission of our first child we are loosing 30 points. This is so ridiculous. Why there is no regulation to monitor this situation. There should be transperency in procees.
Also I have gathered information that at the time of verification of points the school has their seperate criteria for allocation of points to every application. what is that criteria. Parents should be aware of that.
How our child fate is in hands of these school management. What kind of democracy we have as we are treated like puppets for our child education. Indian education is best in world but education system is hopeless.
Please raise this voice.

DPS Mathura road site is not allowing us to fill the application form online since form last 25 hours at least. On enquiring the same, they are not agreeing that the site has any problem and saying that they received many applications yesterday. There is no other way to fill the application form other than an online mode. This way they are restricting people to fill up application form which they are not allowed to do. What should one do in such a scenario??? This is the only schools where the site management is not done properly. In all other schools which i have filled up online form for, i have not faced such an issue that u are not able to log in only. At first it was told that online forms will be out from 15th Dec09. We have been continously trying since then, but forms section only was not available on site. For calling them up and for them to pick your phone at least you have to try continously for 2-3 hours and then if u are lucky they will pick up. Then for to figure out if the forms are available online i had to continously keep trying online if it is available online. NOw after somebody told me that it is now available, i have been trying to login to the admission section since yesterday but there seems to be a technical error there. DPS MR has become a full time job for last 2-3 days and with no result. Pls help

hello sumit ji ,i want bring to your notice a few pactices of some school that need to be criticised:-
1) a school names new era public school,they told us to submit fees to reserve the seat,while we submitted the fees,we were told that 5000/- will be deducted if we withdraw,but u should inform before 30th january,but most of schools will display the list on or after 1st feburary.so,how can we withdraw before the list of other schools are displayed
2) some schools are asking to submit one time payment ,that also non-refundable around 30,000/- to 50,000/-
and this amount is other than we have to pay for annual charges,tutuion fees ,development charges etc,etc
so,the point is that if you deposit the amount in any school to reserve the seat the refund is not gauranteed,that is the worst thing.......
can u raise our voice to the concerned authorities.......

i agree with ruchika gupta... this is my first child i also wantki ill give her good education but there is no hope for any school coz i got points in only neightbourhoodor girl child rest are stuupidiity so please rais this topic..

I want to ask that school like st. francis are giving max 50 points to catholics and rest points to alumni etc..
is this fair?

I am residing in South Delhi. Here different schools are charging different rates for the admission forms. Like Summer filelds is charging Rs. 500, DAV for 200, Indian school for 200- 300 etc.
Why the diffrence is there if once it has been announced by DOE that form cost will be only Rs. 25.
Secondly why Missionery/catholic schools are giving more points to catholics children. wht abt others?

Example Laxman Public School Hauz Khas has put this information on their notice board ---nursery addmission forms Rs. 100/- At the time of farm submission regestration charges Rs. 150/- they dont stop here read their notice board without disclosing the fee structure they demand Rs. 34000/- in cash at the time of addmission.

Despite of strict instruction by Directorate of Education that the registration form is for Rs.25/- and it is not compulsary to take prospectus. There are so many schools who selling either the form at higher cost or selling their prospectus along with form. List of schools where I paid higher amount for form or faced prospectus compeltion (without prospectus NO FORM):
1. SRIJAN SCHOOL (Model Town) - Rs.150/- along with prospectus.
2. VENKATESHWAR GLOBAL SCHOOL (Rohini - Sec 13) - Rs.450/- only for Form.
3. MODERN PUBLIC SCHOOL - Rs.150/- along with prospectus.
4. MATA JAI KAUR PUBLIC SCHOOL - Rs.175/- along with prospectus.
Pls do raise the issue and would appritiate if there will be action against above school to break the rule of due authorities.
