Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2026-27

Steps/Classes to reach upto Class-1

Hi Sakshi,

Could you please help me to understand what all classes are in between from Nursery to Class-1.

As per my thinking Nursery=LKG, So Nursery (LKG)-->UKG-->Class1st.

Am I right or missing something?

Yes Nursery=Lkg

Prep/KG= Ukg

Then comes 1st class

Different nomenclature followed by different schools.

My son will complete his 4 yrs this november. He is in pre-nursery now days in Eurokids. Is there any way to try directly for KG. I know it's a confusing question but my son will loose 1 yr if I admit him in nursery. Also I have very less choice for nursery admission.

YES, MR. SENGER AND sAKSHI, YOU BOTH ARE RIGHT IN YOUR PERCEPTION. NAMES MAY BE DIFFERENT BUT GENERALLY TWO FOUNDATION CLASSES ARE RUNNING BEFORE REACHING TO CLASS-1.

i WOULD LIKE TO ADD THAT THE MINIMUM AGE OF THE CHILD MUST BE 5 YEARS FOR SEEKING ADMISSION IN CLASS-1
