Hi Sakshi

Please let me know whether we should  have a separate original affidavit for the girl child for every school we apply or photocopy will also do?

And can the name of the school be handwritten on the affidavit  as I want to keep them ready and write the name later on?

Appreciate an early response.

Meetu

Handful of schools ask for school name.Prefer it to be typed

You need original at the time of document verification in all the schools.

so that means that at the time of submission we can just give the photocopy?

Meetu

Online forms do not require any submission of docs while filling the form. rest most of the schools will accept only original only.

Many Thanks Sakshi..

One more thing I need to ask.I have heard and read that all the docs need to be attested by a govt gazetted officer so can you please  tell me that whether this can be done thru an outstation gazetted officer too?

Secondly whether address proofs,id proofs, educational qualification etc all documents need to  be attested?

Meetu

1 Yes

2 School specific( could be self attested also) if not mentioned then safest is gazetted officer.

A gazetted officer is a civil servant and the authority to stamp comes from president of India.
In India, Gazette is published on regular bases, it is a official Central Government Publication(nicked name Gazette).

If a person's name is published in the Gazette, he/she is called Gazetted, in most cases they are honorary Justice of peace and have same standing as some of the Magistrates. This is why their signatures on certain document are recognised.
Therefore gazetted officer is an officer in Indian government service whose signature is required for attesting certificate copies & photographs of a person.

So a gazetted officer's attestation any where in India is valid anywhere in India and hence you can get from outstation officer.

Class2 or B Officers with some supervisory/managerial role.

eg. Section Officer, BDO, Tahsildar, Junior doctors, Assistant Executive Engineer, Lecturers in Government colleges, Headmaster of Government high schools, Junior Doctors in Government hospitals, 2nd Lieutenant to Major, etc

Class 1 or A: Executive power vested officers, with decision making powers.

All India services, though posted to states; promotees from states to the cadre of Assistant Commissioner and above and to the cadre of All India services ; Police officers of Circle Inspector and above; Additional District Civil surgeons, Executive Engineers and above, District Medical Officer and above, Lt.Col. and above, Principals of Government colleges and above, Readers and above of Universities, etc.

Nationalised bank officials are not gazetted officers but protocol ranks exist.

Is there will be any specific format for girl child or we have to get it prepared ourself.
