The nursery admissions system has become a mockery of the DOE guidelines . Schools are doing what ever they want to do. Bal Bharti PP has not disclosed the points system as a result we have got to know that children who have secured less points than my child has got admission and my child has not. ........... Either the point system should be abolished or should be implemented in a fair and just manner ...

Yes how will it work? most of the schools have already listed their lists and many are coming up on 1st of February (two days left).
There are many schools which did not even call parents for interaction on the basis of educational background. they have only shortlisted highly qualified parents. now will they rethink on their list? i do not think that this rule will be followed this year! it has come up very very late!

Thats ver true, and if they remove the profession/education points also then it'll be very dificult to get an addmintion in those school, whic are about 5 KM from from the home.

Then why are points for sibling? what will happen to first child?
Then why are points for alumni? what will happen to parents from other states?
How can something be changed from retrospectively? It only can be prospectively?
We are professionals and applied only in those schools where our points were good, WE have not applied in other school. Who will be responsible if my ward because of this instruction will not get the admission.
Still i am unable to understand how can you change system retrospectively??????/

Right i agree with u sooo much... im staying in Delhi for 14 years though my schooling is not from delhi but im here since my graduation day... so no alumni, no sibling, no govt job, and first born son.... now if they dont consider qualification also we stand to lose out completly.... i doubt if my son will make it to any good school..... its so so bad

Its really unfair.........
Parents like me score only on the education n profession n if they remove points for this then we have no choice left.... Well even now we dont have any choice but atleast some points were there in our hands....
Its absolutely unfair....
If Mr. Lovely wants to do something for Us,then he should curb the donations and back door entries rather than playing with the point system...that too he woke up so soon.....
It is ridiculous......

All the parents who have chosen to apply in schools having qualification points should joint against DOE instructions. please start a blog and write to DOE against this. Even if we have to move to court no worry. Nothing can happen retrospectively? I am very clear on this?
Schools should also should not agree to this.

Hi Mr Garg,
Blog will not work. We all have to protest physically.This forum and blog good only communicate for each other people like us. Koi schoosl or DOE blog nehi dekhta . Agar blog aur forum se kaam hota sare schools abtak sudhar jate.

Mr Mishra this news is on front page of this blog only ..mr vohra only did this story when parents of gyan bharti were very tense from last 2 days..
children interview was stopped by this blog/mr vohra
srijan results postponed /notice to modern ..all due to blog / mr vohra efforts

good one - but where it will lead to ----more chaos?
Ideally the point system should be designed by DOE and given to schools and most important criteria should be of distance. It's a ridiculous situation here that some school is giving preference to INDIAN IDOLS (read indian culture), some is offering seats to Kubers and few to those lucky ones who have their first kid studying prior to the implementaiton of point system.
But it's too late for the action of DOE. Most of the schools have already come up with their first list or second. DOE action is too late.............to have any effects now.

I agreed with you. Mr Vohra did a great job but still .. Schools like amity, Apeejay Modern schold not listening to anyone.They don't have any criteria............
