Address Proof

There is one school as of now which i came across is asking for address proof which should be a year old, where in my documents are only 7 months old. Is it that major a issue that my application can be rejected.

Tagore International, vasant vihar is asking for one year rent aggrement. is it right as per DOE guidlines?

Tagore international, Vasant vihar did not accept my Voter Id coz it was issued in 1998....they want one year address proof!!!
