Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools
Thanks to DOE who has acted swiftly after Mr.Vohra's complaints. Parents can be relaxed with the confusion prevailing regarding neighbourhood areas from day 1 after the admission guidelines notification was issued.
Parents pockets too saved now by just self attestation. If still schools ask file complaints in nursery helpline number.
If EWS category can applly within 1 KM only? As most of the schools in mayur vihar accepting EWS form from the area falling within 1KM.
DOE Delhi has laid down the following neighbourhood criteria for EWS and DG which was implemented from 31.1.2012 after HC Order.
Admission shall first be offered to eligible students belonging to EWS and DG residing within 1 km of the specific school.
In case the vacancies remained unfilled, students residing within 3 km of the school shall be admitted.
If there are still vacancies, then the admission will be offered to other students residing within 6 km of the institution.
Students residing beyond 6 km shall be admitted only in case vacancies remain unfilled even after considering all students within 6 km area.
I am residing in a leased flat since Jan 01 ,2013, the flat is leased by my company with landlord , is this work as a address proof as i am having copy of the lease deed with me.as shifted to New delhi in Dec 2012 only and no other address proof i am having.
Lease deed is a valid proof. Go ahead.
Only DG under EWS category can apply in both DG and General category.
Latha ji, plz suggest a parent applies under EWS category and in general as well with adequate proofs as asked. He could not be selected in EWS but succeeded in general category and takes admission after paying the fee of general category. After 15 days of submitting the fee, if the above fact comes to the notice of the school that he has also applied in EWS category, then can he be served a show cause notice as why his ward's admission be not cancelled in toto because of submitting fake income certificate.
Issuing such a notice is legally okay or not? Please comment.
Mahramji
No Income limit for sc/st and only non creamy layer/orphan and physically challenged can apply in both EWS and General.
Also notified by DOE.
Sakshi and Latha, my confusion still remains a bit only. I have just clicked "creamy layer" on the website www.ncbc.nic.in and notification says that income limit for creamy layer is Rs. 6 lakhs.
If I am not wrong, the facility of no income limit is for non-creamy layers or otherwise.
You are right. OBC who do not fall under creamy layer with gross income less than Rs.6 Lakhs are eligible for DG. For SC/ST no income limit.
