sibling means a real brother or sister of the applicant already studying in that school. Twins applying first time cannot be treated siblings for the purpose of admission. It is a relationship by default naturally. Therefore, point does not have weigthage.

This question may have been earlier answered, however I would still like to know the exact admission rules applicable for minority schools. We have been told that these schools does not come under the RTE & can have their own set of admission procedure. Is it correct? why these school does not follow the same set of rules which other schools are following atleast for the balance 50% students other than the minor community? please help...

1.are no of seats avaialible in right proportion to demand for seats need a mechanism frm the time of birth that schools are increased as per baby birth figures.
2.8km makes sense if you are having equal no of schools or propitional no of seats as per population of that area what about thickly populated areas with 3 or 4 schools .
3.y cNt we run shift 2 for ews in same schools on a mutually acceptable terms with private schools which can double no of seats.
4. When do we see a govt school with swimming pool labs playgrounds etc as we can spend 70000 crores for common wealth games for 15 days but cant spend 3 to 5 crores per school.when will indian govt school be at par with uk or us gov run school .

Why the directorate of education has not mentioned banks statement/passbook as an address proof? These are accepted for getting one of the top document from government of India i.e. passport but not for nursery admissions. Why then the banks are after customers for submitting Know Your Customer Norms under the Prevention of Money laundering Act, 2002? Are nursery admissions a bigger thing than the KYC Norms?? Even when the DOE has written the list of accepted documents is not exhaustive, the schools have just come up with the same documents as suggested by the DOE. The telephone Bill of only MTNL landline has been listed as a valid document but not of private operators like Tata or Airtel. Why then the government has come up with privatization of certain sectors when they are untrusted?? What is the difference between government company like MTNL & private company like Airtel in terms of processes followed for customer identification & address verification??

Some schools not giving any acknowledgement nor giving any registration number as well. How come parents know if their application is involved during draw of lots. Schools should also display list of all those who registered for nursery admission much before the actual draw of lot starts

Many schools (Tagore international, Father Agnel, Don Bosco) are still m\putting up upper age limit cutoff as 3+ years even after the same has been waived off.
