Its a fact and yesterday also I have mentioned the same in the forum.

but the irony is, for EWS students, the school fees is NIL. Infact the school has to provide them with meal, books, uniform & stationary. :)

Well, on the flip side, when the govt introduced this 25% EWS quota, it also increased the seats in schools, so no. of seats for general category has not reduced by much.

No they never increased the seats infact some schools reduced the seats in entry level.

Instead of improving the Govt. Schools they put their responsibility to pvt. schools and eventually to the general category.

That is also from all sources, do you know minimum wages for an unskilled labour in Delhi is Rs. 311/- per day.

I totally agree with you madam.
The govt charges an education cess on all taxes . So it is the govt's responsibility to provide schools and education to the underpriveledged . We the general category has to bear the burden of teaching the ews students as the schools will not shell out from their pockets to bear the expense.

After submission , real suffering for parents will start , to check their child name appeared in any school. AN Team pls. raise this issue to make lottery system fully transparent and selection criteria too. If selection list for all schools can be centralised on DOE Website as many schools  are not going to put up the results on web sites, some don't even have websites.Dates of draw is also different in many schools, Parents will have to visit a lot of schools for results. From several days parents have gone through mental agony and tension for getting forms and submission of same, i request your great team if results can be declared in an organised way, there should be a drop down list of each school on DOE Website from where we can check result, which will also maintain the transparency of the vacant seats once a child cancels registration at one school, process to fill up vacant seats.

I agree. This is going to be a pain to check results for all schools. Seeing that it takes time any centralized process to be established, we  can help each other.

Whoever visits a school can take a picture of the list and upload for everyone else to view.

If you see that a school has uploaded on its web site, tell everyone.

What say ?

Ya, seems good

The Supreme Court on Friday refused to stay the interim order on nursery admission process in the national capital but asked the Delhi High Court to expeditiously hear the pleas against the guidelines by advancing the scheduled hearing.

NOW URGENT AND EXPEDITIOUS HEARING TO BE DONE BY SINGLE JUDGE OF DELHI HIGH COURT

Chetri, Yash, ashu,

I have discussed misleading fake false information submitted by EWS parents since 2011 on this forum. You can go through my blog post of Rs. 8333/- month. This is very unfortunate for this country and that too in Delhi where it is very easy to obtain documents from government offices.

Another great wonder is for DG group, let them earn 10 lakhs per month, yet govt. is offering them reservation for apply in both the categories, if selected in DG, they need not to pay anything and if selected under open seats, they they will pay. What a balance by the government?

Surprised to see these policies? Mr. Vohra, please raise this issue and do something.

In 1982, the Constitution specified 15% and 7.5% of vacancies in public sector and government-aided educational institutes as a quota reserved for the SC and ST candidates respectively for a period of five years, after which the quota system would be reviewed. This period was routinely extended by the succeeding governments. In 1990, Prime Minister V. P. Singh announced that 27% of government positions would be set aside for OBCs in addition to the 22.5% already set aside for the SCs and STs.

When does it end ?

Never n being general is now a days curse
