TO YOUR SURPRISE I HAVE SEEN A FAMILY (HUSBAND-WIFE) @ SAKET ,  WHO HAVE CAR KEY IN HIS HAND & SUBMITTED FORM IN EWS CATOGARY, HOW CAN THIS POSSIBLE...?

GOVT. SHOULD INQUIRE IN THIS MATTER , HOW THEY ARE GETTING EWS CERTIFICATE FROM GOVT. BODIES...

I stay in mayapuri and as e result left with only one or two good schools for my son. The distance criteria has come out as a shock to me. I am so worried that where vil my child get admission and has not slept since many days. We cannot apply to good schools in dwarka, vasant vihar, dhaula kuan, pisa road. I dont want my child to study in some local small public school but the govt. Has taken away my right to choose the best for myself and for my child. Schooling matters a lot for the kids. Its matter of 14 yyrs with teachers and the kind of class mates u get.

They have taken away my fundamental right feedom of choice and decision making. They cant ruin the future like this

Many schools are considering aerial distance, so lots of Dwarka schools are within 8 Km. also, Paschim Vihar, Punjabi Bagh, Pusa road are within your 8 Km radius area.

Birla Vidya Niketan Push Vihar has divided the wards in three category

1. General

2. Staff Ward

3. Girl Child

can you please specify if a girl opt for Girl Child she will be able to consider in General Quota Lottery System too??

They are not clarifying it..

As per DOE order all schools have to reserve 5% of seats for girls. Admissions for this 5% quota should be by draw of lots from the all applications received from girls within 8 km radius.

After this 5% draw. Left applications should be considered for lottery in general category according to the point systems.

Why some schools have mentioned Passport,Voter Id,Adhar,DL as address proof in the forms.as per DOE guidlines   we can submitt ration card/water bill/electricity bill/MTNL billl. Please help on this.

All schools should follow the DOE circular.

I feel and wish if point system could be amended and some impt given to first born child.
Neighborhood 70
Sibling 15
First child/twins 5
Alumni 5
Inter state transfer 5
Like this first child will get impt also sibling will give an edge to above mentioned.

This certainly looks better and hope something practical like this comes into picture rather than current point system which can be questioned anytime.

Why Not all schools displaying there 1st list of shortlisted child on Same date?
Most of the schools are displaying there first list based on their own criteria rather than following DOE guidelines, this gives mental tensions to parents, will they suppose secure their child seat on first basis shortlisted schools or they have to wait for others schools list ?

All schools are displaying lists on 28 Feb. Some schools however will have a draw of lots (if applicants securing same points is more than seats available) before 28 Feb.

draw of lots will be on different dates and school can decide as per their choice. No stay on this.
