Most of the schools havent specified their lottery dates and have just said the first list to be out on 28th Feb. Keeping in mind the HC order that lottery to be held in front of the parents, what is being done to ensure that schools follow this procedure and also inform of the lottery date well in time.

Do private schools get any funding from Govt. for educating EWS kids?
If yes, should not govt. directly pay that amount to the parents instead of schools so that they get an upperhand. Also amount for Uniform and books/ stationary to be directly given to students so that they should not be on mercy of the schools.

Also does govt have any idea on acrual applications vis vi seats avaiaible data.and why cant we have ews in 2nd shift doubling seats and making it a little easier for others

you want ews kids to be excluded from your kids environment = it is called discrimination, beware you are going against the constitution of India

Thats just too gud .. hope we get heard through Mr Vohra being there as our saviour !
I believe the foremost question in the minds of all d parents would be how to have the lottery done @schools in the most fair and genuine way as all our hopes rest there .. as it is to be videographed as per order from DOE , the important aspect to it would be to make sure to all the parents present that their name chits are inside the box :-)
Another one ought to be that in case a particular parent is not present at the lottery date considering that there would be hell number of lotteries happening at a given day , cant expect every parent to be there @all the schools .. my contention would be that in case a name appears in the lottery notwhitstanding the fact parent is there or not it SHOULD NOT be considered as null and void and passed over to some one else .
As per the present scenario luck would play a great role in determining who gets the admission or not lets play on this however has to be absolute fair in the eyes of the law .

I completely agree with Mr. Shantnu, No one exactly knows how the lottery will be conducted and how we will make sure of our chit, if schools have received more applications say in thousands for draw, will they anounce each chit name , they are putting for lottery. Not Practical, say for springdales or DPS

EWS income certificates Fraud or Truth

Schools and competent authorities should do more scrutiny of EWS income certificates . Some People show false income certificates and get their kids admitted in school of choice from EWS quota . Even Well -to - do families who holds the car car key in one hand and smart mobile phones in other hand got EWS income certificates prepared which cost hardly Rs.6000.00 or less. Which i feel is a fraud and needs to be checked thoroughly and I suggest these applicants as well certificates issuing authorities must punish for these type frauds.

can ews kid compete in gen once he fails to get seat in ews ?

Schools should accept adahar card as a valid document for address proof as it has been issued by government of india.should not bother parents why will they lie about address child will go come back to that address only by school bus so they should believe the parents
