UNFAIR - No chance for kids with 70 points
No matter how much we praise the new point system but it is becoming nightmare for the parents of kids who scored just the distance points.
Now, I think, the previous point system was ok.
I have all top schools within 3 km of my home (South Delhi) but since the criteria is 8 km and number of applications has increased manifolds (AS STATED BY MR VOHRA IN OTHER POST) in all schools just due to this, I have no chance.
Almost all top 15 schools are saying they have more application > 75 points for total number of seats. That means my kids doesn't even get a opportunity to be included in a lucky Draw. THE END OF THE ROAD FOR PARENTS WITH 70 POINTS.
Mr VOHRA Can we still think something about this??
People are getting nervous and hopeless due to this.
Find some GOVERNMENT CRAPPY SCHOOL GUYS OR GO TO SOME OTHER CITY...
I AM FRUSTRATED TO MY CORE!!!!

The idea behind creating this discussion is to make people aware that this is something really serious and will end up in lot of students without a single seat no matter how many schools you have applied to as there is no chance of included in lottery with 70 points.

Abhishek Sir, Can we raise it on FB or we all should gather at Jantar Mantar any tom tick and harry can go there and shout for stupid demands can't we fight for the future of our children .

we should go for dharna at jantar mantar, then only this matter will be highlighted, there is no other option.
when we can fight against corrupt politicians, why can't we fight for our kids, this is our right.

Thanks Abhishek for taking it up. Mr. Vohra, most inter state transfers are fake. Imagine submitting one letter with your admission form and get at par with alumni. Schools wouldn't have the required resources or bandwidth to check authenticity of inter state transfers but surely they can ask for more supporting docs to prove the same. Can't imagine every 10th kid is interstate transfer case..by that logic Delhi's population would have gone up 10% in a year at least..

Some applicants in one schools have scored 75 points and while at the same time in another school 70 points!! Isnt it in your face fraud and faking of interstate transfer!!??? But difficult to keep a check at the same time!!

Very valid point, Most of them are looking like bogus and fraud we should go to LG and raise this issue.

What is the way forward, as we do not have much time in this. Mr. Vohra & admission nursery team please suggest, you have been taking forward parents' issues always- Do we set up a meeting with Education minister or can someone contact a responsible media person who can highlight this issue in a serious way and help our genuine concerns. Why should we be disadvantaged and lose a very important opportunity to send our child to a decent school just because this year the points were messed up?

There should be some very solid proof, which should authenticate the transfer certificate, just one letter is not enough, anyone can bring that.
Parents has to submit the play school certificate of the xyz city, from where they got transferred. I am sure there kid must have attended some play school. Form 16 or TDS certificate of that state for the last year, where the last company's address will surely reflect, bank statement of last year, where salary got transferred or bank book or cheque book with address. There should be a 100% authentication in case of transfer.
I am 100% sure 98% people won't be able to produce the documents. please guys spread this and some action has to be done at the earliest.

but why should they get point for transfer case in the start of session....when they are producing address proof ..that means they are settled in delhi now...so how they are different then us for nursery admissions..

Something really needs to be done about this but I don't know if it's too late.....I have first born boy twins and even though there are lot of good schools in my radius - I don't know if they will get into any school with 70points!!!!
This whole interstate transfer points are taking away from the core of this point system "Neighbourhood"!!! What a MESS....
I hope something is dome before Feb 28th or we with 70 points are all DOOMED!!!

Yes, Inter state Transfer is no doubt the most traumatic concern for all the residents who have been born and brought up in Delhi... To add to it, why this point system in Delhi only while all over India, the nursery admission rules are different? Why? It should be centralized all over India... Then we shall see how the inter state transfer cases will work? How will they find solution.. Ideally a quota can be an place for inter state transfer cases and for that matter that they should have separate quota for alumni too... Sibling is still understood, but where will d first born go in this point system.. Everybody desires that their child should go to good schools...
