Tagore international has mentioned that the amount 9450 it is taking now does not include any tution fee and this entire amount once deposited is non refundable. Is that fine as per DOE guidelines?

sapna as per rule they have to give back 25500 they can deduct only 200 which they say is the admission fee. Since parents are not raising the voice they are making fool of us. My case is also same with apeejay and i had one more parent with me if u r intrested join us we will raise the matter to DOE and will take all necessary steps to recover our hard earn money. When our child has not joined their orientation programme how can they deduct 60% its sheer nonsense.

Dear Mr. Vohra,
i am indeed facing a fee refund problem at the hands of S.S. Mota Singh School, Junior Wing, situated at Narang Colony, Janak Puri, New Delhi. i had applied in two schools viz, St. Francis, Janak Puri and SS Mota Singh School. i got my daughter Saloni admitted to SS Mota Singh School as their date of admission was earlier than that of St. Francis School. Very methodically, these people took ONLY CASH as the mode of fee payment. moreover, out of the twenty thousand odd rupees, only 500 rupees is supposedly refundable being security deposit. subsequently my daughter secured admission in St. Francis School and i preferred the latter over the former. i also intimated the fact to the school authorities and requested for a refund. they plainly refused to refund any amount other than that of the security deposit being Rs. 500/-. they say that fee is refundable only if admission is withdrawn within one month from the date of admission. in my case, i applied for withdrawal of admission 2-3 days past one month from the date of admission. this has given these people an excuse of holding the entire sum of money. im perplexed and just dont know what to do. will i ever be able to get my hard-earned money back? Please help........... Sovinder Singh
Hi,

We had withdrawn admission from Amity Saket in the 1st week of March, 2010. This was 4 days above the stipulated one month period.

They have deducted 3 month Tution fee + Admission fee + Registration Fee. On speaking to the school authorities, we were informed that DOE rules do not state anything if the admission is withdrawn after 30 days of taking it.

Please suggest, if there is anything we can do to get back extra 2 months of tution fee that they have deducted.
Talk /write to Doe and ask about refund rules afte one month ..as their notification does not specify anything about refund after one month ...if u have anything concrete .let me knoe we will get ur refund by the help of our NGO V R ONE !!
