Please can anyone advise me how to import or copy DPS lists to excel??? I want to sort them alphabetically and see how many duplicate cases are there!!

I feel sibling points are genuine so we must try to strap the alumni and transfer points and all general category be included in the draw. At least we parents will feel satisfied that we are given a fair chance. Rest destiny.

Sibiling and alumni point also need to go, as in DPS almost 70 - 75%  seats cornered by them. If you have a kid studying in a prestigious school, then the sibling is assured of an sure shot admission in that school. How fair is that for firstborns.

Scrap the point system,with 5% reserved seats for siblings, alumni & interstate transfer cases each. Then only ppl with 70 points have chance to get to draw. Or else Alumni cases would be assured of a seat in their respective schools.

Copy the entire table from webpage and paste it onto excel.

Interestingly the very first name in the list of candidates for dps international has scored 25 points ie 20 for sibling plus 5 for transfer...this is the max u can score.....how is this possible.....to get transfer case advantage also while u already have a sibling studying in the school.....wondering...maybe one can

It is possible if either one of the parents was transferred. It is not necessary to be transferred and take your child / spouse along, esp if the spouse is working and child is studying.

Basically the whole transfer advantage makes no sense on a few counts:
People who are staying in delhi obviously are then at a dis advantage
If one is already being considered with 8km radius then why additional advantage
Alumni points are same, so at par with transfer case in all schools
While an alumni has an edge in only school, a transfer case beats all to the race in all schools within 8 km radius ..

Absolutely illogical and mindless.....

Agreed. I am not justifying tfr points, just making a point that under current system, it is possible to claim tfr + sibling points.

TRUE, thats why i think instead of parent transfer, it should hav been student transfer case(which will be applicable only mid session & not at the start of session of nursery class)
