Good News

My request to all parents to focus on comlete removal of transfer point in nursery class. Thier is no sense of this point in nursery class. Or they can avail only one categery point.
I agree transfer points completely removed. Otherwise no chance for 70 pointers.

Let us fight for removal of transfer and alumni points. Distance should be increased slabwise considering neighbourhood schooling and 1st born also. Delhi is a place where parents arrange marriages of their wards inter-state, thus not compulsory to be alumni of Delhi schools. Therefore, alumni should also be removed. Let us fight for keeping distance, sibling and 1st born categories, even separate reservations may be made for Siblings, 1st born and Remaining.

Granting equal points to distance like this year's 70 will also invite draw of lots at large.

All schools should display their lists on website.. Where point criteria and names of applicants are mentioned.. Just the way DPS s have done.... MIS and sardar patels are you listening???

Thanks a lot AN Team. It is just because of ur continuous efforts that we are going to hear some good news.........

Absolutely agree with this point

We should focus on removal of transfer case only.. if at this stage of admission we ask for changes in each n every rule/guideline.. it may go against us also.. and then even for transfer case we will not be able to get justice...

So i request all of u to

"PLEASE FOCUS ON REMOVAL OF TRANSFER CASE"

Having a sibling is a positive point in an over populated underdeveloped country like india??? Rather first born should be given points and subsequent second, third or watever child "no points"!!

Dear Neha, I think the logic behind giving sibling point was to send the second child to the same school in which his/her sibling is studying. No parent will like to send their children in different schools... by giving points to first born child u can not encourage population control, specially in a situation where every year admission guidelines/point system are changed,...

However I was just requesting to concentrate on one issue which is affecting us(parents) the most at this time.... otherwise every rule/guideline/points can always be discussed..

Agreed on the reason for sibling points.

But in a state where anyways we have demand supply problem and it is a nightmare for parents of first born to get their kid into a good school, why give preferential treatment to anyone?

Why points for sibling or Alumni? In fact why points to Alumni at all!?

Right.... 100%correct
