i am also not agreed with the interstate transfer points given to those parents who are transferred from NCR Area. It is complete a unjustice as these parents are commuted from delhi to NCR on daily basis and on the basis of bogus transfer certificate they are getting more 5 points for interstate transfer. After the admission, they might be again transfer to be posted in NCR.

The point for interstate transfer either be abolished or points for interstate transfer should be given to those parents who are transferred from other than Delhi /NCR.

In short, i oppose the present point system for interstate transer.

vikas

I strongly believe that there should be points for first born child. Where will the child start education if he/she doesn't get admission anywhere??? There is still girl child quota for girls but what about boys? If they've anything lower than 75 points, there will be no draw of lots for them at all. If there's first born points, at least they have some luck!

Most of the transfer cases will have first child points also .. again they are above u in points...

Points for first born do not make sense, most parents would then clash at 75 (assume +5 for first born).

Removal of Tfr points completely for nursery is the best solution.

Once this is done, only people who would enjoy additional benefits would be

1 Sibling points

2 Alumni points

3 Transfer points for classes after Nursery only (as they genuinely need additional help as they are relocating mid session / changing schools due to relocation)

Rest all would be equal based on distance criteria , which can also be either staggered or flat (0-8). This point is still debatable , as staggered points will not help areas where there are not many good schools nearby.

people who have provided fake documents(any document for that matter, not only transfer cases), should be penalized and their application forms should be rejected outrightly...what say? High time to stop punishing genuine ppl

Me n my husband have studied frm a school in north but nw we reside near nuzamudin.. I dnt have more than 70 points here in any f near by school.. so wht option is left fr me?? I mean my child is not evn going to b tested fr lottery..

Ashima, No if chances are given to 70 pointers, then atleast 70% registered applicants will get a chance for draw of lots,

Plenty of opportunities will open up in second lists, even if same guidelines persist.

75 pointers will eventually take admission in one school and open up seats in 19 others that they applied to

Mr Singh, Good that you are being so 'optimistic', but in reality, looking at the huge no. of nursery aspirants, and an alarming no. of parents resorting to unscrupulous practices, admissions for 70-pointers seem a distant dream !

I know it looks grim, but look at the facts.

If there are 200 Tfr cases in south delhi, everyone applied to and got admission in DPS/MIS. Same 200 applied to all other schools also.

They eventually take admission in only one school. Rest all seats would open up in second lists.

Why have points for transfer at all. What is the logic

i have already registered complain in helpline.i think people who have first child, whose parents are not from delhi(grand parents)&  do not have transfer case they have not any right to get nursery addmission in delhi.

DPS,MIS & OTHER BIG OLD SIMILAR SCHOOLS  SHOULD HAVE NEW RULE.THAT IS AS FOLLOWS:

ONLY SIBLING,ALUMINI & TRANSFER CASE WILL GET ADMISSION SO NO NEED TO APPLY OTHERS.
