DPS VV - general category draw

Hi friends...just wanted to update you people on the lottery that I witnessed live for the general category today. I must appreciate Dr Saini and his team for the level of transparency in the lottery procedure. The entire procedure was flawless.

Stats today -
Points >75 ......77 applicants
Points =75....256 applicants
Draw for 63 candidates
Wait list....193 candidates

Parents spoke to the headmistress and she assured they would follow stringent process to validate all cases. They would be looking out for documents and proofs from parents to ensure the cases are genuine.

One parent specifically pointed out that he knew of a fradulant case.

I would suggest you report such specific cases to school with evidence if you are losing out on a seat because of any fraud transfer case.

Can anyone help in importing all lists from dps eok / vv into MS excel.. Pls sort them alphabetically name wise... You will get to know how many double triple or more entries are made by several entrants... Should not they hv been nullified as claimed by the schools previously?? Why have they considered them in drawing lottery?????

I have the list.. But it is in my laptop. There were no duplicates in dps vv ..the duplicate issue I have seen in dps vk for sure. Please private message me your email id and I will share it with you first thing tomorrow morning.

Quite true DPS EOK draw of lots was also very transparent and also the one conducted for girl child too on 7th feb was. Dr. Saini and his team has done a great job but they have to follow the guidelines. Mr. mukesh their computers dept head did a great job all day and see they publish the list with all details immediately which no other schools did. And it is because of their transparency only we are able to analyse everything and having the current debate. Most schools are furnishing the total points only.

i also witnessed the lottery..very fair and transparent procedure..all parents actively involved and satisfied..it should be an example for other schools conducting lottery
