Hi Just got an SMS, that General Cat Draw is on 17-Feb-14 At 11 AM

hi got sms from Queens Valley, Dwarka for Draw on 17.02.2014 and sms said 70 points kids will be included.

I understand there will not be any girl child quota as it is girls school.

SMS came while DPS dwarka draw for girl quota was in progress. no luck in DPS dwarka or even modern convent.

out of 21 schools 2 are out so 19 left for my twin daughters with 70 points. keeping my fingers crossed.

But, being Twins, dont your daughters have 90 Points?

i went to the queens valley draw and no luck. I live just next to the junior brach in Sector 11. But during draw i could not see any separate  list for residents within 1 km then 3 and then going up to 8km. I think this is what DOE informed that prefereance would e given in km order. we have lakhs of residents in Dwarka itself and all fall under 8km distance. The parameter of distance is useless to be honest. Everyone has 70 point.

I feel really helpless at times. Will luck decide where i would get my child admitted.
