Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools
Hi Sakshi / Sumit,
First I would like to say thanks to you, for doing extremely well-done job.
But If in case, if kid can't get admission in any school, where parents wants to get their kid admission, than what parents do?Even if school is just 500 meters from home ?
This Neighborhood(0-8 Kms) with 70 point system is equal to 0, if parents having first kid (No Sibling,No Alumni, off-course No Fake Transfer Certificate).
I Think this is completely failure system. Here only those kids are getting admission in reputed schools, either they belong to Alumni,Sibling or Interstate Transfer case.
We have filled almost 20 applications in schools, where almost 10 are out and rest of the schools are minority schools.
On the basis of my experience, child getting admission on the basis of their Luck(If only 75 points) even no luck with 70 points Or Transfer/Alumni\Sibling case.
Parents Who has single child? No one is bothering\thinking about their child education ?Under RTE.
I don't know, what is going to happen in future for our kid and our child is first kid, on that basis, kid is not suppose to get into reputed schools ?Don't you think this system is full proof failure for those parents who has only single child ?
Thanks In advance!!!
I hope you guys can do somethings for US.
Thanks & Regards
Puneet Tuli

Its being 10 years now, I am living in Delhi. And this is the first time I am realizing that it was my mistake that I moved from Agra to Delhi.
Hi Puneet,
I absolutely agree to your views. Even we are facing the same situation. we are born and brought up in delhi but still preference of education is given to people who are transferred from outside. Where is the equality in this system? I have 15 schools within the proximity of 8kms. But not even in draw of lots our child's name is shortlisted. Even the waitlisted candidates have 75 points. This is not fair to our child as he will because of this failed system will not get any admission and will loose a year. The distance criteria is in this case a complete failure. Why these people who are transferred should be given an edge against our child. This isn't called equality. I am very disappointed. Children with 70 points are the discarded lot seems like.
Totally agree wid u Puneet....
M also hvng single baby n dats also a baby boy moreover 70 pointer as no chance to hve more points.....
Fully Flop Guidelines.....
It's so scary everyday v think of d same dat wat wud b d future of our 1st baby boy :( : ( :(
and dat wud b worst if in nxt yr guideline d upper age limit wud b less den 4 yrs dan we wont b hvng any option left wid us.
Hi Sakshi / Sumit,
Could you please through some inputs or do something for us?I was expecting something from your side.
Please god Listen to Us, kids are so special and everyone has rights to educate.
Fake people with fake documents will not suppose to take the opportunity from the right candidate, which is not justice for those who are suffering because of this.
Yes, it is scary as hell.
First of all Delhi is not a great city so far considering safety, weather, cost, people mindset , traffic and these shitty rules, which doesn't make any sense to me et al.
Personally, i will shift to any other state next year to reduce the stress and better life of kid as i m sure mera no nahi aayega (70 points only)
Will continue in play school this year....
I am suffering the same fate as yours
1. I blame those who come form NCR the ugly transfer cases
2. Be selfish & donate to school to secure admission, I know who detrimental not securing a seat in school can be for 2 years in a row
I am suffering from simlilar syndrome. I have submitted form for 34 schools for my first daughter. None of the school has her name so far, although I have all these 34 schools within 8 km. I am quite annoyed and I think boarding school will only be option for her if i have to get her better education.
