No matter how much we praise the new point system but it is becoming nightmare for the parents of kids who scored just the distance points.
Now, I think, the previous point system was ok.
I have all top schools within 3 km of my home (South Delhi) but since the criteria is 8 km and number of applications has increased manifolds (AS STATED BY MR VOHRA IN OTHER POST) in all schools just due to this, I have no chance.
Almost all top 15 schools are saying they have more application > 75 points for total number of seats. That means my kids doesn't even get a opportunity to be included in a lucky Draw. THE END OF THE ROAD FOR PARENTS WITH 70 POINTS.
Mr VOHRA Can we still think something about this??
People are getting nervous and hopeless due to this.
Find some GOVERNMENT CRAPPY SCHOOL GUYS OR GO TO SOME OTHER CITY...
I AM FRUSTRATED TO MY CORE!!!!

Very well said .
I Agree, previous points system was ok. At least my kid got a chance of Draw. But this year they have changed point system i.e. 8 km. Why they have changed? They only withdraw Management Quota. Because of 8km radius it is very difficult to our kid to get admission in UKG Class with 70 points. Because of Alumni and Transfer cases points we have not get any chance of Draw. Why Alumni and Transfer cases, they must fix percentage for Alumni and Transfer cases points.
Lets wait for notification see this today nbt
I am very stressed as I have 70 points and no school is considering that for draw of lots. My office is in NCR and we live in Delhi just to ensure our children get education here. However , now my child will have to commute more than 8 kms to a NCR school as no school in Delhi will admit him. Schools like RSJMS are not even releasing list of candidates that are eligible for draw. Mr. Vohra , what about them ? Is this school not going to follow a transparent process like the others ?
Cambridge NFC No 70 point child for draw. Where are those who talked about using parliamentary language in this forum.
