Moving to HC

Few of us are moving to HC against DOE decision. Please lemme know by tomorrow EOD if anyone wants to be part of the group.

True Madhu...this is the fair way to go.But like u know all the Alumni and Sibling and all other category will start crying again...there's no logic that I see now behind people's comments:(

yes @Pragnya thats what i am trying to say... there is no logic DOE can not satisfy everybody with their guidelines now, every time effected or sufferer will start crying ... so the best way is abolish all the criteria keep everybody on the same platform and just conduct one DRAW of LOT

Launching PIL will be an iterative and endless process...nothing else, every sufferer after new guidelines will launch the PIL :)

Agree, but we also need to consider the administrative burden.. Many schools have started accepted fees also and then in the event of cancellation of draws, seeking refund would be another headache..

However, agree that current DOE guidelines are unfavourable for ex TP candidates as they will be competing for few seats.

See i would suggest keep 2 options with yourself either go with the new guidelines and favor the redraw whatever it is....OR launch PIL for abolish all the points and keep every child on the same platform and depend on their fate.

Anywhere we need to stop....

I believe all points except sibling should be scrapped. We all have/may have more than one child and would like to go them together.. The most simplistic formula should have been:

Some %age quota for EWS: Be social (fully aware that many parents applying in EWS category have swanky cars and live in nice houses but still.. ? It is a must in India)

For the remaining:

First preference: Sibling

Rest all draw

Agree with you; but some distance criteria also needs to be there. Else someone staying in vasant vihar could find their child studying in Rohini. And if sibling is scrapped, as some have demanded, one child could be in Rohini and the other in Mayur Vihar. So the minimum should be distance and siblings.

Lets have a clear agenda. Only two options.
1) genuine transfer cases should be allowed to retain their seats.

OR

2) redraw for all the seats.

With endless discussion we would dilute the cause.

@Shivani still Agenda is not clear and defined....redraw for all the seats will again generate new PIL from the people who are already got confirmed seat....So go for Redraw with not points at all for any category
