For HERITAGE  Rohini only 57 (transfer cases) were selected in the original draw and 3-4 kids of 75 points were in waitlisted category so there is no disadvantage to anyone this case.

I am in...genuine transfer cases have nowhere to go. We were just going by the DOE guidelines and now we are left nowhere. Count me in..

@Amit...please read the below without any bias against any parent

Case A:-

Why the parents who got selected through Draw of lots at 70 points want their kids selection to be retained and remain intact?Why don't they want a complete redraw?Per me the simple answer is that they went as per the issued DoE guidelines,applied in so many schools and had their luck tried everywhere and after such hardships secured a seat for their child in one school and now they don't want it to be taken back.

Case B:-

Now the parents who are waitlisted at 70points in schools post draw of lots for 70 pointers went through the same amount of hardship...why are they being asked to give up their waitlisting?Although thanks to God they are being given a second chance to try their luck.

Case C:-

Now think of a parent moving from a place like Mumbai/Hyderabad etc who has no idea about delhi at all and is all prepared to try his luck in the admission process.These parents were ready to go through the admission process just like any other parent in their neighbourhood and were geared up for the same.Then came DoE guidelines where they gave them 5 additional points completely out of their expectation.So like any other human being they were relieved to see some advantage and applied per the guidelines. They either went through draw of lots(although in a considerably smaller group) or they got direct admission.Now each of this parent was called by each school 4-5 times and was asked for all possible documents to prove the genuinity of the transfer even at odd hours like 9pm in the night and they kept running around to prove it.After all the hardships they were able to secure seats in almost 60% of the schools they had applied to and were contemplating which one to choose for their child. Now just because of the misuse of these transfer points by stupid parents(who feared competing with other 70 pointers) and the incapibility of DoE to prove 'how the schools were catching the fake cases which would have been easily weeded out in the final list due to come out on 28th feb; they scrap the transfer points at 11th hour and issued the new guidelines.Now these innocent kids are being asked to give up their seat.Don't these kids have the same right to retain their seat as the kids in case A and case B?

The question here is about the right to equality under a single set of guidelines

Very nicely articulated.
@mr Amit , am really wondering what is your actual concern at the moment, admission of your child or creating hatred amongst parents. Looks like you are more concerned about spending your time and energy in talking all negative and nonsense about transfer people. On the contrary our focus should only be on sharing some useful information.

There Re few people who are in favor of transfer points and and some might be against and everybody has the right to express themselves. But you seems to be the only on person who is busy in spreading negative things.

I BEG YOU to go through and read this analysis ?? This will really really tell you the NON- BIASED story.

When we were fighting My child had already secured a seat and for that matter children of few other parents too. We were ready for this Collateral -Damage.

We were in danger that all the selections might be scrapped and fresh draws for all seats could have taken place  and my child would have lost his ONLY seat. EVEN then we fought against this malice.

MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION------> WHY were GENUINE TRANSFEREES SILENT ?

THIS is a NON-BIASED REVIEW OF THINGS WHICH HAS HAPPENED.

THE essence of transfer points was lost i.e. TO ADMIT THOSE WHO WERE TRANSFERRED.

Instead

PEOPLE GOT TRANSFERRED TO GET ADMISSIONS.

I agree this should have been foreseen by DOE which just seems to shoot at sight and bring orders as per their whims and fancies.
