Fee Refund if you chose to withdraw
I am aware hat there is DOE circular dated 18 dec 13 in this regard however schools like GD goenka sector 9 rohini are clearly saying that they will not refund a peny if you choose to withdraw.
This year we are definitely going to witness a scenerio where parents will have no choice but to secure a seat wherever they are getting in first list and then wait if they get lucky in subsequent lists.
Can we ask DOE to issue some clarification in this regard that schools at this stage should charge only one month tution fee+ nominal admission charges and charge rest of the amount in april when session starts as otherwise we all shall end up losing a lot of money in this whole game as each school charges hefty amount in the range of 30 k to 70k at the time of admission and very unwiling to refund if you wish to withdraw from that school
Moderator please advise if it's possible to influence DOE to give some circular in this regard.

Apologies chander i have not understood what you mean by whole story. I have already written in detail what i want. I do not want to be spending a lot of money because i want to wait for subsequent lists.

Now after doe circular of 27 feb, what is the revised date to submit fee for those who have confirmed seats as some schools are asking to submit fees at the earliest else they may give seat to others. Please let me know if you have clarity on same as we do not want to lose the seat.

Don't take chances. take it with a pinch of salt...you might realize that by the time DOE issues guidance - GAME OVER!!!! just secure your seat and play the game...

Its not a game.it's about our hard earned money nd god knows how lots of parents are managing that gruesome amount of money by taking loan or by other means.i am having in the same situation as the school in which my daughter got confirmed has toal admission fees of around 50000. So its not easy to play with that amount of money.some steps must be taken for withdrawal nd the refund of fees

Lathaji am aware about this circular however many schools refuse to follow. What is the recourse if school refuse to refund. Where do we need to file complaint if needed

I went to one school in pitampura to deposit fee and they told me that they will not give any reaceipt today but forcing to pay today. Receipt to be given after 15th
