Delhi international school

MY son got the confirmed seat in this school only, pls tell be whether i shoud go for this scholol or wait.... this is the only school where my son is geeting confirmed seat as of now and i have applied for 9 schools

How z Delhi International school??

I also got call from this school but not now last month,and they have asked to pay some amount also from me to book seat.

Really dont know on what basis we got the call at that time if they are doing Draw.

hi ruchi , my daughter also got selected in dis. and i am also in the same condition as u. dnt knw should wait or not. they have asked to reserve a seat with rs.10000, if we want. want reviews of this school

Hi Parul,

Same is with me ...they have asked in case we are doubtful to reserve the seat by paying 10K and to pay rest by 31st March....

I do got a feedback from my friend's friend whose two kids are in DIS. As per her, school has improved a lot after the change in principal and she is satisfied.

Please share your personal opinion as well when you visited the school....that to would be helpful

@ Ruchi...we all are in same situation...after long two days thought to it...I may go with this option its a gamble of 6500 Rs. In case, we got in any other school we will loose this amount.

i liked the school infrastructure. its a non ac school n does not have swimming pool. dnt have much info. couldnot enquire about other factors like self defence learning, cctv n xtra corricular as i was in hurry and had to pick my daughter from school. what all discussions all u had with school plz share.

I got to know that they have splash pool once in a week and most probably on wednesday for which kids go to their Sector 18 Junior school. When I visited there were karte classes going on for prep kids...they informed that they have Karte, splash pool, and skating as a part of curriculum in nursery and KG per week.

They informed us that in sector 18 they are going to have new building coming up as a full fledged school which will be AC and equipped with all kind of gadgets. The school will start running from 2015.

I have only one concern and it could be because I am not aware of other nonAC school fee structure....as its coming out to be 6275K per month for non AC and ITL is AC school with fee of 6800K per month so I feel its bit expensive.

Personally I felt better...if I see my requirement, its near to my place and was more secured in terms of the infrastructure.

I have just spoken with the school reception of DIS...the receptionist told me that we need not to worry as they are not going to change the list.

Though I am not going to pay the fee by this saturday as I have requested them to give me time till monday....

But yes its a mess.....considering it will be fresh re-draw, we again have hopes for school like DPS...but it seems every school ...I cant even find a single school which has some kind of good reputation and is not asking for money even if you got through the draw.

I am not going to pay any kind of donation for my child admission...I am happy if she study in a normal school not with the big name at present...but for the first step of my kid's education with donation..I may not be able to teach her not to do it...I am sorry to be idealistic!

there draw is already in suspicious list . dont know how they have done the draw. they already called so many parents before doing the draw. so no body should be worried about these schools as they are using the back door entry. pls dont pay any donations to these kind of schools . they are openly flouting all the rules
