My son's name got shortlisted in this school. Please share your feedback/experience if your kid is already studying in this school?

Finally paid 49K today and got the complete breakup of fees structure.
Even came to know abt Maxfort fees...it arnd 44K + 50K (institutional fund) same is the case with OPG Dwarka ~ 40K +40k (no reciept)
Are you guys thru with the final deposits in Saplings??? -

Guys Lets do something. They can not play with us like this. Earlier they were demanding 55k. Later reduced the amount to Rs.36500 so more admissions they can secure. Now demanding additinal 50k without giving us prior information. They should have informed us at the time of admission. We can't take it for granted. Lets all go to school and talk to management. DISGUSTING!!!!!!
Even a top level school in Delhi is not demanding such a huge amount. Maximum they can ask for balance amount (55000-36500=18500).
Its not about the money. Its about the ethics.
LETS DO SOMETHING!! RAISE YOUR HANDS!!

Just came back from Saplings and here is the story
49,500 for 2 yrs and it includes
- Daily meals
- Educational Kit (excluding text books)
- Medical check-up
- Transport for excursions
School dress and transport costs are separate
The above amount can be deposited in form of DD max by Tuesday.
Even I raised the concern with the so called coordinators and they have short and straight-forward reply, saying its a management decision
Do you guys thinks its worth??? I am bit confused now :-( Any suggestions -

@Shivangi - Though I agree and respect and your thought process.
Exactly, we do not have an option and its not a Bollywood movie, wherein, we protest and they would take the decision back.
In fact, I had asked about it at the very initial stage and they were very particular about the fact that we should make up our mind first before depositing INR 36500.
So, I guess we are stuck:(

Yesss...this is the only constraint...we dont have good options ...Moreover, Saplings does not come under DoE so they are running their own show. Not sure if they wud return the deposited fees easily
even i heard that we can get admission into maxfort junior even if the name is not in the list. I cam check woth one of my friend and will share the details later

Just got a call from naxfort dwarka and they had asked me to come on Monday with a cheque book though my daughter never made it to the list. Heard the price is INR 90000

@Sunny, please share the outcome at Maxfort.
I heard GDG , PV is also doing admissions. You need to go to the reception and insist you want admission in this school only.

Just tried to figure out how much it stands per quarter :-))
Education fees - 22935
Dev. Fund - 1650
Annual charges - 3000 (paid 12k in first quarter as annual charges
New Additonal cost - 6187 (total 49500k to be paid in advance for 2 yrs)
Total - 33772 + tranport+ school dress + text books. It will be approx 40 k per quarter or 13k p.m. Although its bit on higher side as compared to indraprastha, krm, maxfort but on positive note its still ok from my pov if this amt does not elevate further with any other hidden cost....Hope the above calculation help others if they still want to go with Saplings... rest we have no choice :-(( -
