Nursery 70 point confusion. and solution

There is a good news for parents who r not getting admissions on 70 points. yesterday I went to DOE regarding this 70 points confusion.. and we met concerning officers regarding notification.(name not mentioned). the officer said why the school is not giving admission.. and immediately called the related officers to inquire about the matter. Then the officer guided us to go to our district zone officers (like our zone is south district- SCERT defence colony) and explained, that all 70 pointers will get admission whether selected in first list or in second, if the seats are vacant. And our case is totally valid. and priority will be given as..

1. to alumni and sibling

2. to girl child (if any)

3. to first list 70 pointers selected before 27th Feb. or 70 pointers selected after 27th Feb. i.e. after scrapping 5 points of IST

4. to second list 70 pointers selected (if seats are left)

But this is in concern with Mother's International only.. Because DOE doesn't know what other schools are doing. So every school has to take an initiative. Parents are requested to make a group of your selected school and write a letter to DOE. Hoping that we will get some relief now. I ll post the letter that we wrote to DOE n school with all attachments soon.

Hi suneet..my son also got his name in apeejay draw held on 8th mar.but after I filled d admission form on 4th April they returned my documents on monday saying again d case is on hold...can u guide me on this? Wats ur status?

I stay In east delhi area. I had applied to some 10 diff schools in and across my place.My daughter is scoring only 70 points. On making a visit to these schools recently(DAV Shreshth Vhr, Dayanand Vhr, ASN International, Ahlcon Mayur Vihar, Vivekanand School, Ryan International and few more) to see if my child's name was there or not, i was surprised to see that some schools had only 30 to 40 names in the list .on asking that where are the rest of the names the guard had no reply and only asked us to contact school reception . they dont let parents go in and only provide telephone no which usually no body replies... i feel sorry to see such responses of schools and just hoping that in coming future there r some measures made to solve concerns of parents

Letter that we wrote to DOE offocials

I am representing 15 parents and children who were selected for admission in Mothers International School, Aurbindo Marg, New Delhi after the 1st draw, for applicants with 70 points after 27th Feb 2014, after scrapping of 'Inter State Points' considering all 75 points applicants as applicants having 70 points.

Ma'am, as per the notification by DOE No. F/DE/15/1031/ACT/2014/22663-75 Dated :04.04.2014, point 3, it clearly states that such admission shall remain valid but the school has put these admissions on hold till 16th April 2014 ie. the next date of hearing at Hon'ble Delhi High Court.

By this mail we request you to kindly look into the matter and help the suffering parents and children find relief and sought clarification from the school for such an action.

I am also attaching the below mentioned list of documents to forward my case in front your goodself.

Attached :

1)   Letter Issued to The Mother's International School, on 07.04.2014, attested by the school.

2)   DOE Notification No. F/DE/15/1031/ACT/2014/22663-75 Dated :04.04.2014

3) ADMISSION NOTICE FOR ACADEMIC SESSION – 2014-15 of The Mother's International School.

4)   Mail received from School on 10th March 2014, Re-draw for Admission to Class I - General Category – after deletion of points for Inter State Transfer Cases as per DOE Order

5) List of selected candidates of 70 points after scrapping of IST points.

Request you to kindly look into the same and oblige.

I just want to inquire how the seats for 70 pointers selected in redraw will be left if the school starts taking admission from the waiting list of the draw before 27th February......

Dear Parents,

Please dont take tension. i am also in the same boat. Let todays day, i.e. 09.04.2014 pass, the people who have to take admission in one school, will take and remaining seats will be vacant. This will happen in all the famous schools also as DPS and all.

Then we all have chance for admission in these schools because the picture will be clear then.

Hi nimisha..thx for the information..plz guide me on this. . my son got his name in apeejay draw held on 8th March. .I even filled the final admission form after the verdict on 4th April but now they have returned my documents saying that again some case is going on for 70 pointers and transfer cases and will get to know about it only after 16th.. Should I wait?
