Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools

Hi Sumit,

I have submitted the form for Amity Noida 2015-16 and have received an appointment for interaction at Amity School, Sector-44. Only parents are supposed to go (no child), interaction duration is told to be around 1 hour. Please could you help me understand what do they typically ask and any particular thing we should keep in mind, documents we should carry with us, any general Do's and Don't's would be really helpful.

Thanks!
Akulaa

You would be presented with a test of around 45 questions to be completed in an hour. All based on parenting. Prepare yourself well. Child not required in this round.

Thanks Anmol. Please can you share a few Qs ?

you can search the forum, you would be able to find close to 200 questions that have been asked in the past.

@vishal: Amity Sec 6 vasundhra takes a 30-min written test comprising around 25-30 questions. Keep the following things or answers to following questions ready:

1. Grandparents details (both paternal and maternal), including DOB, Age, Qualification, Organization, Designation, Contact, etc.

2. How many hours you spend in office?

3. What would you do if the school bus does not pick your child from school?

4. Who takes care of your child in your absence?

5. What would you do if your child gets bullied by other children in the school bus?

6. What are your thoughts on the current education system?

7. You have to tick the behaviour patterns of your child out of a list of options.

8. How wud u choose the best school for ur child? You have to rate the parameters provided in the question.

This is wat I cud remember to the best of memory. Plz also go thru previous posts in this group. You wud get other questions too. All the very best.

For amity Noida, during the 1st interaction, kids r taken in one room and asked to recite poems, given some sheets to color(very simple ones, like apple, umbrella etc). meantime parents r required to fill in a big questionnaire that ahs questions like
1. whats the order of ur criteria for selecting a school for ur child amongst - reputaion, academic results, distance from home, staff quality etc.
2. what r ur expectations from school
3. what do u want ur child to be
4. what will u do if ur child is not able to finish his class work
5. how will u react if ur childs reports of being beaten up in school bus
.........the questionnare consits of similar questions and was of ard 6 pages

In 2nd round parents are interviewed on simila lines and one pet question from both parents working is.....who takes care of ur child in ur absence and how do u cover up for the time lost when u r working. parents r usually asked about their family background, their work profile and their child's general behaviour. The answers r cross checked with what was written by us in the 1st round questionnare.

in the same room in one corner, kids are asked questions like, whats ur name, where do u stay, parents name, recite a poem etc.

one suggestion from my side to all the parents-----dont interrupt ur partner, answer shud come from the partner who is asked the question, be confident, dont contradict ur partner's answer.

Wanted to confirm that the questionnaire will be given on the day we are supposed to go for form submission? Also, the documents listed in the form are child's birth certificate and proof of residence. Anyone who has had an interaction..would be great if you could share your experience..Thanks! Komal.

Thanks Punit, Shruti, Latha and everyone for the response ... this is very useful. Regards!

this really helps...thanks

is there going to be an interaction as well on the day of submission of form/ filling the questionnaire?

hello all- what would be an ideal answer for:

What would you do if the school bus does not pick your child from school?
