Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools
Hello ,
My daughter is 3 and will be starting formal school in 2015-16 session.
Could you please provide me a list of top schools in Dwarka, in terms of Education, Sports, Culture and child student ratio.
Also , i reside in sector 6 , so in which schools i have a better chance.
Thanks and Regards,
Ravi.

@ Varun Mahajan, These days DDA does not allot huge plots to schools like the good old days of modern school etc. Moreover, most of the periods in any school are transacted inside the school building and not in the playground. In schools with a bigger plot or playground too, children usually remain in their classroom. Spaces are not that important as is the optimum utilisation of the spaces is.So I think, we should focus more on the vision, curriculum, teaching methods, environment and quality of teaching and teachers of the school and also that what kind of activities does the school do so that the children may actually gain something.......& moreover individual attention and safety is very important these days. I also sometimes feel that the schools who have decided to be 2-4 section schools and have focussed more on quality, also stand an advantage in terms of safety and individual attention. I have heard a lot good about JM and luckily you are so close, why don't you pay a visit and find out about school's learning programme.
@Varun Mahajan. Maxford is better
Hi Ravi Joshi, I am a little confused about top school that you are asking for. Does 'the top' means those 3-4 names which are always there for hear say ? I have read some very sensible and eye-opening comments on this site on the term 'good schools' or 'top schools'. The top school would be the one where your child will get maximum educational and inspirational inputs, some individual attention, some great vision and passion to fulfil that vision. You must explore the schools on such parameters and also persuade others to think, rather than glorifying some 4-5 names without even knowing anything in particular. I think some practical wisdom can save all of us from this maddening anxiety. Another sensible thing which appeals to me is distance and safety. Look at the terrorist attack case in a Pakistani army school yesterday. We should send our kids to nearby schools which are fairly reasonable and pay individual attention on children. like if you are in sector-6, you should not miss checking out J M INTERNATIONAL and MAXFORT. Both are quite good in terms of methods. A DAV is also nearby. These are my personal views and I thought like sharing my insight. ALL THE BEST
Dear Sunil,
Your comments make much sense. Thank you very much.
what does a terrorist attack have to do with location ? we are not doing admissions in Pak here are we ?
Hi Sunil,
By Top I meant good schools that anyone can vouch for.
I was looking for a list of schools which i should not miss in applying.
experience from parents who are sending their wards to these schools matter most.
You are right that there should not be unnecessary anxiety, but sadly that's the way it is now.
Thanks ,
Ravi
Guys/Moderators,
Can we have a dedicated links for Dwarka school admission news, dates and new announcements like we have in the main thread?
Thanks ,
Ravi
Dear Sunil,
As you stay in near by vicinity, do you have or arrange any feedback on NK Bagrodia and BGS
I think NMS is expensive than DPS and other schools
