Mount Carmel Sector-22 - Smartly Pushing for Prospectus for Rs. 200

Despite of ruling that no school will sell FORMs beyond Rs. 25, Mt. Carmel is doing very smart thing.

They are selling form in Rs. 25(Thus no violating rule), but to fill the forms and all other information is not publicly available. One have to buy prospectus for all other information.

Bravo Mt. Carmel. What a smart move. All school can follow this move. When I argue with the lady selling the forms, she told me that they are SMART ENOUGH.

Thanks sandeep for posting this..... but i would like to know especially from the admin that what can we do if a school violating government rules like selling forms/prospectus at a high rate, asking for donations etc. There must be some government committee who is looking after this.......otherwise these things always remain the same...

No its not true..u can ask them only for reg. Form...i did same nd gt only reg form for Rs 25

In absence of any guidelines by the DOE / Delhi Govt, these things are bound to happen. The question is, does it make that school a bad school?

First of all, its the govt. / govt deptt. responsibility to centralize / regularize the admission criteria specially for nursery class which is the starting point of Chaos for parents.

With no guidelines in place, schools may / may not bend the rules as per their thought process. Its similar to we people ignoring the traffic rules in absence of cops / traffic lights. Does that make us a bad driver? :)

If I would have been in your place, I would pay 225 (Rs. 200 for prospectus and Rs. 25) , scan the prospectus and make it available on this forum and everywhere on internet so that they think twice before becoming "SMART ENOUGH"

Man! First that is illegal, second brochure is not mandatory and we all know what information would be there, it is a promotional crap and money making machine.
