Rahul
Anytime :)

Sakshi Just went to the excel sheet provided by you for fees in Gurgaon School. Shock to see 4 lacs for one year of nursery child who will have 3-4 hours of class daily and that too 5 days a week.

Are we talking of MBA or B TECH . Student can do his B Tech of 4 years in 3-4 lacs easily and here nursery is being done in 4 LACS

I will say here that we all parents are responsible for it who just pay whatever school demands and they took hike their fees easily by 20-30 % every year.

Really Worried on our education system

Regards

Jatin

Jatin I concur your thoughts and feels that it's us as parents who are responsible for this mess, as without paying capacity the fee could not reach that far.

Even prospectus and application fee is very high 1000 to 2500 in some cases where as in Delhi and Faridabad Schools application fee is 100 only.

More over School ask parents to sign declarations to not discuss/disclose information on social media/forums.
Dear All
I think its schools calling d shots
Pls read this recent article

Hi Sakshi, it's because of market as in tier-II and tier-III cities, same brands have very low fee structure as a result of low purchasing power of parents.

If some parents boycott Schools having high fee structure there are many others in queue to replace them from nearby regions like Delhi.

Due to "chalta hai" attitude exhibited by parents of Gurgaon city there are many anamolies in admission process such as opaque selection process.

During interaction with a school principal openly admitted that School intended to cater to Nirvana Country children only, if that was the case why sold forms to parents from other regions?

Hi Sakshi and Vikas, I would love to get your thoughts on this too. We are from a very similar background, hence confused. Particularly want to know your thoughts on if it is true that shriram aravali is considered 'the best' and exactly why that is the case.
Actually
The school does not have open door policy n does not conduct any tours ..gives 25 marks to write essay at home.
Not considered transparent but yes most sought after n a sign of status with shriram brand name
Thank you Sakshi! Can you also give me your thoughts on which is considered better-shriram or shiv nadar? Getting such strongly positive reviews of both.
Shiv nadar have very good reviews for primary but too early to predict as it has.to give 12 results as it is till 10th now .some senior class parents fell slow in academics..so too early to predict.
Thank you very much Sakshi!
Anytime :)
