Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2024-25

Visited the School exhibition yesterday and got to know abt the new school of Presidium, sector 57 itself. We are also putting up in sec 57 and both the current school & new school are quite close to our place. Knowing this, we thought of considering Presidium. Can someone plz advise if anyone has any insight on their methodology and future plan reg new school. Yestrday they said that parent can transfer their child in the new school which will come up by next session.

Also, plz let us if anyone is aware of The Sri ram POLICE public school. Plz advise, it's really confusing

They even confirmed that transfer is possible to "any" branch of Presidium - even the one's in Dwarka, Delhi.

As per fees, both Goenca and Presidium are almost at the same level - approx 14K/month including transport.

hmm..but total fees of the first year is very less for Presidium as compared to GDG.

How abt the reviews and their staff? Plz share the input.

Do you or anyone else ever tried for transfer...

Hi Shilpi - the first year fees "seems" to be less as compared to GDG is because of initial discounts they provide - normal discounts + corporate discounts. For instance, I am offered a discount of 25K ( 15K normal + IBM corporate tie up - 10K )

But if you compare monthly payout (divide annual fees/12 + tution etc ) , both come down to approx the same.

As far as transfer is concerned, the coordinator confirmed me that transfer is possible to any branch, and that too at any time of the year - not necessary at start of session - unfortunately this is all verbal and word of mouth, I cant really say how much is true and practical in reality unless someone who has actually transferred comment...

I think I am spending more time and resources for Nursery admissions than I spent choosing the right career for me !!! God !!!

Hi Gaurav,

I have some queries regarding GDG, may be you can help me.

a) As per the fee details referred by school in the website the total "Provisional Quarter Fees" excluding initial amount 40K & transport fees is INR 30K whereas as per the fee structure sheet given by their person yesterday during visit to the school when you add up all quarter fees i.e Annual+Development+Tuition+Health & Hygiene+Safety & Security+Scholastic Edu+Refreshment it comes out to be INR 34,200 whereas the lady who gave the sheet also kept on saying that quarter fees is 30K which is contradictory.

Today morning I called up the school & asked about the same for which they seems to be confused & the lady said, she will give a call back with confirmation but has not called till now. It seems there is some confusing going on. Secondly during school visit they didn't tell that transport charges will also increase (although referred as provisional in the sheet) but now they say it may increase 10-20%.

The sheet they gave me with the brochure had the same details as mentioned on the website. The only hitch I found was the * which says that this is the provisional fee which kept me worried (and rightly so after your interaction). I guess this is not the right approach they are taking. First they display lower fees to attract parents to their school and impress them by showing the facilities and later create confusion with manipulating the numbers.

I am sure what all facilities they have shown will sooner than expected will become chargeable and the fees will increase to around high-end school fees in tune of 40-45k per quarter. Today one of the parents known to me has gone there for admission will check with him and update you.

Also I remember Vishal and Rashi from this group were to go today. Let’s wait for their clarifications as well. I had some urgent work so couldn’t go today

Thanks dear for your feedback.You are right most of the schools have used the same USP.As in Salwan also we were told that the fees given on noticeboard was old one 7 they are expecting 10% hike in the same as in case of GDG where they are saying it to be tune of 10-20%.

Infact when i been to the GDG yesterday the lady was showing all the facilities but when asked particularly only, she told that the instructor who comes for coaching of sports facility is on chargeable basis & not included in the fees, we are paying.

Hi VR / Gaurav,

I spoke with the Admission coordinator today as I wanted to check on couple of points. Regarding fee structure & withdrawal, they mentioned -

1. Currently, admission fee is 40K and per quarter fee (inclusive of annual charges) & development fee is 30K.

2. The quarterly fee might get revised to 32K and we will get to know about it in December/January.

3. Regarding withdrawal, I was told that withdrawal can be made up to 1 month of admission. If made within 1 month, admission fee (40K) and 1 month's fee (10K) is non-refundable and 2 month's fee (20K) will be refunded

4. If withdrawal is made after 1 month, complete fee will be forfeited, i.e. admission fee (40K) & first quarter fee (30K).

Transport charges are additional. They will accept currently notified once for now, but those might also get into reconsideration in December/January.

Thanks for the info.

Finally there is some info about the refund. But yes, one must say that deduction in refund amount is too high. I dont know why they want to deduct so much money wheras there is nothing they have invested for the child in that just 1 month. There should be some nominal cut but 50K is substantial deduction.

All this is happening since there is no single governing body by education deptt. to control these decisions resulting in such a situation where ultimately parents will have to face the brunt.

Hi Gaurav,

They will accept paperwork & fee per the given structure as of now. In Dec/Jan they will notify about increase and give time to deposit that.

I hope it is clear now.
