Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

I have also filled in form in Amity 43, but asked this question as form for Amiown is little more elaborate. Also I was quite ticked off Amity 43 form, they asked for educational details of grandparens starting school! i mean really! also questions like who the kid is most attached to. What kind of question is that!

Hi Anuj,

Welcome dear. Yah i agree few questions asked in Sec43 questionaire were totally irrelevant.

For your information, today i been to DAV, sec14 where also they had asked for original Birth certificate as per form filling instructions in website but they have accepted the photocopy itself & there was no question about the same so need not worry.

Regarding Amiown experience I will share once i attend the same on 06.09.13.

We have submitted the self attested photocopy of birth certificate at Amiown....Original was just checked for verification of photocopy.

in one of previous thread you have mentioned that "LVIS is better at this stage and way DPS is catching up I m not sure who will be better in next 2-3 years".

you have mentioned this for DPS-45 or DPS SL because query was for the DPS SL.

Hi Swati,

Can you suggest on the procedure of getting admission in UKG in DAV-14 for 2014 session. I went to the school and they said that they only take kids in PreNursery and LKG. How that is possible. There must be some withdrawal cases.

It's common nowadays in bigger schools. Even you go to schools like Ryan, most of the pictures will be their principal , founder member getting prestigious awards from president, education deptt. officials etc. in a way its a marketing stunt.

Go for MRIS as it is better than all above.Last year Cbse topper was also from Manav Rachna in Gurgaon.

It is Progressive school.

We were also quite surprised with the selection criteria at LVIS...and i dont think distance is the criteria since we are just 1.5 km from the school and still not in the list. they started with first come first serve as the criteria for admissions to begin with then distance and now i think its purely on the whims and fancies of the management..

We have got our child admitted in MRIS and dont want to wait for the second list of LVIS. If the admission process is so vague, i dont think there will be clarity in anything in future as well.
