Hi Everyone

In general i saw positive feedback on forum regarding Shiv Nadar Gurgaon but i read feedback that was very negative from a parent.

They took out there kid but i need to seacrh that and paste it here. if you guys searh you will also find it

Its a new school-just started a year or so back. They are on a trial and error basis. They are learning from their mistakes and taking feedback positively. Has good potential. They had male attendant taking children to bathrooms. Parents complained and then they changed to female ayah. But check out the student teacher ratio-I am told that they tell 2 teachers in each class-But second teacher is only a float teacher who takes care of some 2-3 sections.

Dear Sakshi, I would like to  check on Shiv Nadar,Gurgaon.

Can you also provide the basis of suggestion why Shiv Nadar, Gurgaon is a good choice. How many real parent's feedback do you have specially from NURSERY, KG and class 1.

I had admitted my daughter in shiv nadar, Gurgaon, but opted out after a year of dissatisfaction.

Reasons for my withdrawal:

1. Unhygienic food: imagine small kids eating unhygienic food and facing stomach problem. Principal took 7 days to reply on a dead fly in food issue after a lot of harsh mail of parents and meet happened on 13th august and the issue was raised on 7th August 2013 .

2. Red Tapism and Unethical: I was not allowed to meet principal to discuss the transportation issue for my child, and I was suggested by transport authority to shift my home near school as my new home was 9.3 km from school, which was really far as per them and against their transportation policy. Though my daughter was getting transportation when I was staying in Shivalik Road which is 15km and usually use to take 1.5 hrs. When I submitted my withdrawal letter for my kid after completion of KG. I got a shameless call from school that from now onwards my daughter will get transportation from next day. How they had a change of heart after 6 months of my application and refusal.

3. Latest incidence: Yesterday my wife received a call from my daughter's ex schoolmate's mother to join for a meeting at school as her son was locked in bathroom for a longtime and no one was there to help. Then my wife told that our daughter has left the school in April2013

Congrats nicky.

If you are positive about all three, then this call only you should take. Go by your gut, heart or whatever. In my opinion this decision should be taken by you and your family. May be ask your kid. Whatever you decide then just stick to it.

All the best and god bless!

Thanks Parul.

Kunal
How far is ur home from LVIS.Just wanna know az distance is a criteria for selection gor LVIS
@sakshi. I stay around 8 km from LVIS (DLF PHASE 5)

@Thanks Sakshi and others.

Paid the fees at SH today.

Just made one parent of a girl child happy. My daughter is in the list of Shiv Nadar at no 14. Will not opt for it. Lotus Valley and some other schools will be missing out on her.

@Sakshi Please mention it in bold that parents dont need to line up 12 AM at SH. We reached there at 730. Got the form around 830 and submitted by 945. So feel that SH has been fair in selection

@ Sakshi, we received the call today from Blue Bells Preperatory, Sec 4 for interaction tomorrow. Do you have any feedback from last year about their interaction process?

Hi Sakshi and other members,

As we have not got seat in DPS 45 or LVIS and not got any call for another interaction from Suncity.

We are thinking to go for DPS SL or Manav Rachna 46 and reserve a seat. Which one is better school among these two.

Or should we wait for Amity 43 and Amiown? What are chances for getting admission there. As they are taking too much time in their procedure and don't know how much time they will take.
